A skilled fighter would be able to gauge their opponent's ability in just one move.

The other hitmen were aghast when they noticed Ava was not someone to be taken lightly.

However, there was no hope for them to escape anymore.

After slashing one of her opponents, Ava charged into the group like a leopard as she rained attacks on them ruthlessly.

Her opponents fell to the ground like dominos.

In mere seconds, over a dozen of hitmen lay in a pool of their own blood.

The man in black was horrified at the sight before him. He took out a gun with his left wrist

and aimed at Ava.

The moment he lifted his left hand, a slash of blade flickered before his eyes.

His arm holding the gun was cut off and fell to the floor with a heavy thud.

He opened his mouth to scream.

Swish!

Before any sound was heard, Ava had already aimed a dagger at the man's mouth, and it penetrated right through the back of his head.

The man dropped dead instantly.

Ava slowly retracted the dagger from the man's mouth by supporting her left hand on the man's face as she pushed it slightly.

The man's body then slumped to the floor.

Ava moved over to Thomas and Ivan's side to cut off the rope binding them both.

“Can you guys still hold it together? The ambulance is going to take a few more minutes to reach here.”

Thomas managed a smile and said, “These bastards were not in a rush to kill us. They did not really impale us. We can still make it.”

Ivan held in the excruciating pain and stammered, “General, these are the Davier family's people. They are suspicious about your identity, but the two of us revealed nothing about you.”

Nathan furrowed his brows. So the Davier family is already suspecting me.

He could not help but eyeball Nathan. With a smirk on his face, Arnold said, “I've wanted to find out more about who you really are from these two men.

“Well, well. How delightful that you've come to me instead. Since you're already here, why don't we settle things once and for all?”

Nathan snorted. “I guess there's really no end to the Davier family's tenacity. It's obvious that you guys are throwing the chances that I've given to you guys out the window. So from today onward, no more chances.

“I will kill each and every one of you who steps foot into Channing.”

Arnold extended his hand.

One of his subordinates knew what he was asking for and placed a black combat sword in his hand.

He pulled out the sword from its sheath and pointed it toward the floor. Arnold stared down at Nathan smugly and said, “So arrogant. I'd like to know if you're living up to your words.”

Finlay whispered in his ears, “Mr. Davier, aren't we going to confirm whether he's the General first?”

Arnold's lips curled into a smile. “I don't think that's necessary.”

If he's not the General, I'm just going to kill him off.On the other hand, if he's the General in disguise, well then he's just going to suffer an untimely death. Either way, this man is going to die.
