The incessant praises continued.

“I'm sure your wish will come true very soon, sir.”

“Yes! We can't wait for the day to come!”

“How we wish he's here so you can finish him off right now!”

All of a sudden, a group of men barged into the dining area.

The music stopped and so did the dance.

Saxon and his commanders were taken aback by the uninvited guests that were all dressed in black cloaks.

Who are these people? Are they from the Xyperian army?

At that instant, Saxon's expression turned grim. “Which platoon do you belong to? Who gave you permission to come in? I thought I specifically said no one is allowed to disturb our dinner?”

The leader of the bunch removed the cloak, unveiling the uniform he was wearing.

Upon seeing the gold stripes on his white uniform, Saxon and the commanders were stunned.

The Xyperians also noticed the Eurasian national emblem on the sleeve of the uniform and a golden sword.

He was none other than the God of War and the

General of the North himself - Nathan Cross!

Saxon looked at him in disbelief.

Among them, some could not stop themselves from mumbling, “It's Nathan Cross, the God of War and the devil on our borders!”

All the commanders responded with a gasp, and all the Xyperian dancers immediately fled from the dining area.

And that gave Nathan and his men a chance to infiltrate the Xyperian military base.

Nathan walked steadily toward Saxon as if he was taking a stroll in the garden of his house.

He then casually reached out for a bottle of wine and poured it into a glass in front of Saxon and his commanders. Following that, he took a sip of the wine.

Out of the blue, he spitted out the wine in front of everyone.

Feeling disgusted, he wiped the corner of his mouth and looked at Saxon. “Your wine sucks. They suck as bad all of you idiots.”

In the meantime, Saxon finally recovered from the shock. His commanders and the other soldiers were ready to draw their guns from their holsters.

Saxon squinted and gave Nathan a sullen glare. “Nathan Cross... How dare you intrude on our military base with your men. You're either too brave or plain stupid.”

“You killed my officer; You killed my friend,” Nathan said impassively, “And I promised my soldiers I'll come here and slaughter you like a beast to avenge Lieutenant Sutcliffe.”
