Nathan's face revealed a hint of surprise at the sight of Zachery.
“Zachery Hackett, weren't you kicked out of Eurasia permanently? How dare you come back here!”
Most attendees of Nathan's birthday celebration had no idea who Zachery was.
On the other hand, Ava and Thomas could barely contain their astonishment at the mention of Zachery's name.
A few years ago, the man used to be the renowned God of War in Eurasia's navy. His status and influence were once comparable to Nathan's.
Nevertheless, he made a major mistake so
President Windsor commanded Nathan to chase him out of Eurasia.
Defeated and miserable, Zachery was expelled from Eurasia.
Unexpectedly, he had returned and showed himself in front of Nathan.
Zachery snickered. “Hansel has retired and you've fallen from grace as well. Those who kicked me out are going downhill now. Why wouldn't I come back?”
“You committed treason by revealing classified information to another country and betraying your own nation. Yet, you have the audacity to come back here.” Nathan reprimanded him in a frigid voice.
Nathan then glanced at Toby's body and questioned indifferently, “Are you the one who
made this guy come here and stir up trouble?
Zachery laughed. “You made me lose everything I had and forced me to leave my homeland, wandering around like a homeless man. Now I've come back just to settle an old score with you. Your time is up. The burial shroud Toby gave you is exactly what you'll need later. He was so thoughtful, but you killed him. Tsk, tsk... you're indeed small-minded, Nathan.”
Everyone was startled, exchanging glances with one another with a dumbstruck expression.
Now they finally realized that Zachery was no ordinary man and that he had come with ill intentions.
Penny was very worried. My Hubby isn't the General of the North anymore. These people obviously came prepared. Will he be able to handle this?
Though Zachery had been defeated by Nathan, he was now much stronger than before.
However, he still had no absolute confidence to win against Nathan.
Perhaps it'll be a good idea to let Drake test the
waters first.
At that thought, Zachery nodded in agreement. “Alright. Be careful. After all, he is Eurasia's God of War. Don't underestimate him.”
Drake cackled and said, “Mr. Hackett, I like a saying from your nation: only the greatest man shall be the leader. We'll replace this man after killing him. From today onward, there'll be no God of War. We will make history, and all the elites will remember this glorious moment.”
Striding forward, he drew a dagger and pointed it downward, looking at Nathan with disdain. ’’Bring it on!”
Before Nathan could say a word, Ava replied in a stern voice, “What the hell are you to fight against Mr. Cross? Show me what you've got.”
