A grimace spread across Zachery's face as he charged toward Nathan.
Before the spectators could even react to his sudden action, Zachery had already vanished out of their sight.
The next thing they knew, Zachery was standing right in front of Nathan.
The crowd was confounded. He is as quick as UghtninglHe was right in front of Nathan in just a blink of an eye!
Even Ava and Thomas were shocked by what they saw. Judging from what Zachery just did, they knew this was going to be a stiff fight.
Penny and the others were so stunned that their faces turned pale as if they saw a ghost. It finally registered in their minds that Zachery Hackett was no ordinary man.
Before they could even come back to their senses, a voice pierced through the air. “Take this!” Zachery shouted as he lifted his muscular arm, swinging his fist toward Nathan in full force.
“Gladly!” Nathan's lips curved into a smirk as he clenched his fist and fought his opponent head-on.
Bang!
Their fists clashed in a brutal collision, and the impact caused a loud thud to reverberate in the whole restaurant.
The ground beneath their feet began to crack inch by inch as they crashed into each other.
The blow was devastating, sending off a ripple of energy into the surroundings.
The crowd staggered and struggled to maintain their balance amidst the sweeping impact.
“This guy is really something,” Thomas mumbled to himself as a frown settled on his brows.
Ava heard him and nodded solemnly. “Indeed. I can't believe he's become so good within just a few years. He faced off the General last time. I bet it won't be an easy fight this time around.”
Meanwhile, Penny and the others were panic-stricken. They did not want anything to happen to Nathan, but from the looks of it, both Nathan and Zachery were evenly matched.
It was difficult to tell who would outfight the other.
“Nathan, it seems like you didn't improve at all over the years,” Zachery mocked.
Nathan smiled composedly and retracted his hand. “I don't even need to show you my true abilities to defeat you.”
Zachery smoldered and shook in anger as he resumed the fight.
“Watch that mouth of yours! It will be the death of you!”
He aimed for the latter's chest and fired multiple heavy punches at the same spot.
Bang!
Before long, Zachery finally faltered at Nathan's third blow.
He let out a grunt as he hit against the ground with full impact.
Yet Zachery quickly recovered and got back on his feet.
With a leap, he stood up again and glared at Nathan with eyes full of hatred, wiping away the traces of blood on his lips.
It was true that Zachery had become way stronger after all these years, but he was still no match for Nathan. Although Zachery knew Nathan had improved by leaps and bounds, he was still unwilling to admit defeat.
Just as Zachery was fuming with frustration, he spotted a brass figure of a warrior with a spear nearby.
He reached for it without a second thought. Then, with a loud cry, he darted toward Nathan at full speed.
“Watch out, Nathan!” Penny's voice rang through the tense air as she saw Zachery pointing the head of the spear at Nathan's throat. Everyone gasped and held their breath, anticipating the worst.
