Nathan didn't even give his best shot in that kick.

Otherwise, Zev's ribs could have been shattered with that one blow from Nathan. Even all the internal organs in his chest cavity could have been crushed.

Colin and the Elite Eight looked at each other and there was amusement in their eyes.

How dare Myron and his subordinates doubt the capabilities of the Chief Military Governor and openly challenge him? They don't know better.

Colin and the Elite Eight knew the Chief Military Governor's actual identity so naturally, they thought that Myron and his men were biting off more than they could chew.

However, Myron and his men did not see it that way.

Myron ran over to Zev in a flash and helped him up. In a hushed voice, he asked, “Zev, what are you doing?”

Zev rubbed on his chest where he could feel an agonizing pain and with an astounding face, he replied distastefully, “General, I’ve been foolhardy. If it wasn’t because of that, I wouldn’t have been defeated with only one move from the Chief Military Governor. You should know my abilities, General.”

Of course, Myron was very certain about Zev's strengths.

Neither did he believe that Zev could be defeated with just one blow from the Chief Military Governor.

It must have been due to Zev's recklessness. What a direful mistake he has made!

Myron was concerned about his condition. “Are you injured? Do you need to see the doctor?”

Zev shook his head in response. “I'm fine, General. I wish to fight with the Chief Military General again.”

When Myron saw that Zev wasn't hurt, he didn't know it was a result of Nathan restraining himself from going all out. Instead, he thought Nathan was fleet in his moves but wasn't strong enough.

In his mind, he had concluded that Nathan was of mediocre level and the only reason he could beat Zev was that Zev had been rash.

Therefore, he turned around at Nathan and rubbed his hands with a smile as he said, “Chief

Military Governor, the combat demonstration between you and Zev ended too soon and our soldiers didn’t get to see what happened clearly. Hence, may I suggest that both of you show it to us again?

Nathan answered very placidly, “On the battlefield, it's about taking down your enemy in the shortest time possible. Very often, your fate is determined right at that very instance when you encounter your opponent. Remember, never underestimate your opponent and never spare any effort in beating them. Doing so shows that you respect your opponent and aren't doing yourself a disservice.”

He broke into laughter as he parted his lips. “Chief Military Governor, are you sure about that? I'm a boisterous fighter. Besides, like what you just said, I bust a gut in a battle. What if I hurt you?"

Nathan replied calmly, “If you're able to hurt me, you would have proven your worth. I'll reward you for that.”

The soldiers from both the Panthera Battalion and the 113 Division who were present started cheering aloud when they heard what the Chief Military Governor said.

Even Zev couldn’t help saying, “General, since the Chief Military Governor himself has said so, what are you waiting for?”

At that juncture, Myron had already come back to his senses.

He was all smiles. What a bargain! To be rewarded for beating you uplHaha, I won't be holding back then.

Brimming with confidence, he answered, “Alright, the Chief Military Governor and I will be demonstrating to you what an actual military combat is like.”

With that, he signalled his subordinates to back away and said to Nathan, “Chief Military Governor, don't go easy on me.”

Nathan waved his hand in response. “Let's start r‘ght away!”
