Colin was known for his physical force and direct attacks, while Ava her lightning speed and fatal blows.

Although they were severely outnumbered, they were able to eliminate their enemies one after another without fail.

In no time, Webb's men dropped to the ground— some dead and some groaning and wallowing in agony.

Webb stood to his feet at the jaw-dropping sight. His freshly lit cigar slid out of his hand without him even noticing.

Likewise, Quent's heart went cold.

Although Nathan was no longer the General of the North and had only retained his military ranking, his men's capabilities totally blew Quent off.

He looked at the last two men who were still on their feet.

With just a single strike, Ava vanquished them and the two dropped to the ground, motionless. “I won. I defeated more men.”

Colin smirked as he spared a cursory glance at the other group of skilled fighters standing behind Quent. “We don't know for sure yet.”

Webb was unnerved.

Terror seized him and he clung to Quent. “Mr. Douglas, what should we do now? It seems like you have to fight them off yourself this time.”

“Relax, Mr. Goldstein. These two stand no chance against my men. They will need to get through them before they get to us.”

“Marvin, Serpent!” Quent called out.

“Yes!” The two men replied in unison with their chest puffed and chin up.

Not only were they skilled fighters from the Davier family, but they were also members of the Demon Troopers. Marvin was well-built and muscular, while Serpent was slender and tall.

They commanded the Dragon Snake Camp in the private army of the Davier family.

Quent took a sip of red wine to calm himself down before ordering Marvin and Serpent.

Colin lifted his hand and heaved a punch towards Marvin.

The latter did not shy away. Marvin went up against him and hurled his fist at him.

The two came together in a thundering clash.

To everyone's surprise, they were equally strong.

Colin was taken aback. Although he did not go all out, he was pretty sure Marvin did not as well. This is gonna be a tough fight.

Opposite him, Marvin was equally startled. “Not bad! I've finally met my match!”

The two charged toward one another and heated combat ensued.

On the other side, Serpent ogled at Ava and teased her. “Come on, let's have some good fun.”

Ava shot him a death glare. “I usually end my enemies quick, but since you're an insolent fool, I should give you a slow death.”
