At the same time, Xenia and Zac did not expect the situation to escalate like this.
As employees of the Ministry of Education, they knew Violet's husband, in fact, the head of the ministry.
Furthermore, from their school records, Nathan was just a security guard, whereas Penny, a factory worker.
Therefore, when Nathan tried to go against Violet, they panicked.
Instantly, Zac quickly tried to pacify them, “Mr. Cross and Mrs. Winstead, both of you should calm down and talk about it. It is only a small fight between the children, so there is no need to blow it out of proportion.”
Agreeing with his point, Xenia also walked towards Nathan and Penny, and whispered, “Mr. Cross and Ms. Smith, what Mrs. Winstead said was true. So I think it would be best for you to let it go. Otherwise, her husband may expel Queenie from school, and it will become a problem for her to continue with her education.”
Zac, standing beside her, also shot Nathan a look to warn the latter to hold back his anger instead of arguing with Violet.
Folding her arms, Violet delightfully looked to Nathan's family.
Even the teachers are afraid to step on my toes. How dare this low-class scum challenge me?
She turned to Nathan and ridiculed, “It is not too late to beg for mercy. If my husband finds out that someone bullied my son, he will do more than ask your family to kneel for forgiveness.”
Meanwhile, Nathan calmly commented, “Is that so? We'll see how your husband reacts later.”
His daring statement took Violet by surprise. Pursing her lips, she mocked, “Look at you! Do you think you are a big shot? Weren't you staging an act by calling Director Donnovan to scare me? Hah! Just take a look at yourselves! One of you is a security guard, and the other is a salaried factory worker. Do you expect me to believe that you know Director Donnovan personally?”
Even the bodyguards behind Violet scoffed at him.
One of them curtly hissed, “Madam, you shouldn't even bother talking to them. Their child hit Marc, so why don't you let us deal with them instead.”
The other bodyguard also agreed, “That's right.
It is that girl's fault. That girl made a mistake, so her parents will have to pay for it. We will be sure to break their limbs.”
Time slowly ticked by.
Looking down at her branded watch, Violet's lips curled into a smile. “Haha, your ten minutes is over soon. You piece of trash, where do you think Director Donnovan is now?”
Her bodyguard answered, “Madam, I can tell that he was merely faking it. Did you really think he has the ability to order Director Donnovan to come here?”
Rolling up his sleeves, the other bodyguard sneered, “Madam, time is almost up. Don't bother with talking to trash like them. Let me loosen him up and take revenge for Marc.”
Beaming, Violet nodded her head. “Sure. We shall fix them up and teach them who's the boss.
People like them doesn't have the capacity to tick us off.”
Her son, Marc, also stood by his mother and waved his small fists, yelling, “Yeah! Let's teach them a lesson!”
