Francis remained stubborn and continued to deny his wrongdoings, "You might be really good at fighting and I can't defeat you. But I was indeed trying to do the right thing yesterday and acted bravely to save Ms. Tonkins..."

Before he could finish, Nathan sent another kick to his calves.

There was a loud crack and Francis' leg was broken. He screamed in painful agony, "Ahhh!"

Nathan continued nonchalantly, "You'd better stop playing games with me now. I will ask you one more time; how did you manage to trick my cousin sister?"

Francis finally came to realization that the man in front of him was a ruthless and vicious one. If he did not tell the truth, he might end up in the hospital with all of his bones broken!

With cold sweat streaming down his face, he finally revealed with a quivering voice, "I'm sorry! It was my cousin, William Nilson! He told me that a wealthy and beautiful lady was looking for a man who was brave and courageous. So, he asked me to pretend to be him so that I would be able to win the lady and her fortune..."

Upon hearing this, Nathan turned to look at Penny and Kylie.

With a low voice, Penny told her once more, "Kylie, it looks like this is definitely not the man you are looking for."

With that, she approached Francis with a very cold look.

Francis begged her with a guilty tone, "Kylie...”

"Stop calling me that! You have no right to call me by that name! I can't believe that William asked you to lie to me. How disgusting!"

As she finished that, she lifted her leg and sent a kick towards his other leg.

She might not be as strong as Nathan and could not break his legs, but she wore heels so that was indeed a very painful kick.

Needless to say, Francis yelled out in agonizing pain once again.

After this, she left the place with Penny in a huff.

Nathan shook his head as he let out a laugh. Bending down, he said to Francis, "Should I let you leave on your own? Or shall I call the police?"

"I will leave on my own..." Francis told him with a quivering voice.

After which, he trudged out of the place with his injured leg.

Nathan walked to the pantry to see Penny and Kylie seated on the sofa.

Penny was comforting Kylie, "Don't worry. Even if he was a fake, maybe the real man is a very handsome one. You will find him in no time!”

Apart from the button which Leah had just sewn on, the rest of the buttons were identical to the one she kept!

Recollecting herself, she tried to ask curiously, "Aunt Leah, whose shirt are you sewing?"

With a kind smile, Leah told her, "It's your brother-in-law, Nathan's. He's always so clumsy and left this in some corner of the house. I found it when I was cleaning the place. Look, there's even a button missing, so I decided to help him sew on one."

Kylie was in disbelief and look at Nathan.

He kept a straight face and raised his voice slightly in the direction of the

kitchen, "Dad, Honey, will dinner be ready soon? I'm so hungry!"

She looked at this loser who was unemployed and only knew how to bum around.

She started to think again.How could this man be the courageous fellow who saved me by risking his life? It does not make sense!

Could this all be a coincidence? Maybe he just happens to have a shirt with the same buttons and the button is missing from his shirt?
