Of the Giselle stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is Salute To The General (Nathan Cross). The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Chapter 239 Suspicion On the True Identity Of Nathan Cross. Let's read the author's Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) Giselle story right here.
Nathan was planning to host Professor Jenson at his home after saving him from the Blues Club.
However, Professor Jenson was here not just to hand over the liver cancer vaccine distributorship to Nathan Cross, but also to reunite with his granddaughter Rachel.
Professor Jenson was also known as the Mad Doctor and he had dedicated his entire life to doing medical research.
He had been doing research on cancer for decades before achieving this colossal success.
However, he barely spent time with his family throughout the years. He did not even have the time to settle the funeral matters when his son and daughter-in-law passed away.
Rachel was his only living family member, but he rarely saw her and merely sent her living allowances punctually every month.
Therefore, he had a rather distant relationship with his granddaughter.
This was why he wanted to spend more time with his own family on this trip. Thus, he did not visit Nathan Cross' home, and neither did he accept the invitation to stay with them.
Nathan did not pressure him further and merely instructed Colin to usher Professor Jenson and a few others back to their living quarters, and requested for Colin and his team to protect them.
Nathan and Kylie then drove the old Polo back to Riverside Garden.
Throughout the journey, Kylie stared at Nathan admiringly, as if she were a little fan girl who had come face to face with her favorite idol.
She could not help but ask, "Nathan, who are you actually?"
Nathan replied coolly, "I am Nathan Cross, your brother-in-law. Who else can I be?"
Kylie said, "What I meant was, do you have any secrets that you are not telling us?
Why did the Mayor and Major-General treat you with so much respect?"
He replied calmly, "When I was a soldier, I'd saved the Major-General's life before. He has always watched out for me as he saw me as his savior. The rest of them behave the same way towards me because of Major-General.
Kylie opened her mouth to continue arguing with Nathan only to realize that they had arrived.
Nathan parked the car and reminded her as they alighted. "Oh yes. Don't tell Penny and the rest about what had happened at the Blues Club today. I don't want them to worry."
All the events that had taken place at the Blues Club today have indeed been a little shocking.
What more, some people had died too!
Kylie understood that he did not want to tell Penny and her family about it in case they panicked.
She nodded. "All right, this will remain our secret, and I definitely won't say a word about it."
Nathan frowned. It sounded strange for her to say that this would remain their secret.
