Smiling bitterly, Penny said, "Dad, Channing is huge, how could Nathan possibly be able to find the thugs that beat you up?"
"True. We can only lodge a police report, but I doubt they would bother with such a small case as this," Leah agreed.
Frustrated, Benson muttered sullenly, "So I'm just supposed to accept this beating and move on?"
"Dad, don't worry. Let Penn take you to the hospital first while I look for those men. Once I find them, I'll bring them over to you so you can vent your anger,” reassured Nathan.
The older man's eyes lit up. "Great! I'll hold you to that, Nathan."
Thus, Penny drove Benson to the hospital with Leah and Queenie while Kylie stayed behind with Nathan.
Pulling out his phone, Nathan called Colin, "Help me check the SkyEye Monitoring System to see who attacked my father-in-
law."
"Yes, sir!"
In less than three minutes, Colin called back with news.
The men who had hurt Benson was a small gang consisting of seven members calling themselves The Hounds. Their leader was a man named Hank Bensher, nickname Doberman.
Colin also sent all the information he could get on the gang, including their photos. Before he hung up, he told Nathan they were currently near Sky River Shopping Mall.
Narrowing his eyes, Nathan muttered, "Okay, got it.”
Gesturing for Kylie to get in the car, he drove them to Sky River Shopping Mall in no time.
Just as he was wondering how he was supposed to find the gang, a figure abruptly darted out in front of his car.
Kylie screamed as Nathan instinctively slammed on the brakes. The car screeched to a halt in time, yet the person still collapsed to the floor in front of the bumper.
At his words, Terrier instantly cried out loudly, "M-my leg! My left leg is broken!"
The Hounds stood around Nathan in a circle, staring at him accusingly. Doberman pointed at Terrier as he insisted, "Look, you broke his leg!"
"Really? Let me have a look then."
With that, Nathan walked towards the man lying on the ground. Lifting his leg, he kicked out at the latter's leg lightly.
Despite looking like a light kick, there was a significant amount of power behind it. The bone of Terrier's left leg broke instantly.
He wailed in pain, "AHH! It hurts! It hurts so bad...Ahhhh, my leg's really broken!"
The Hounds were bewildered at their fellow member's actions. They all saw how lightly Nathan had kicked him, there was no way his leg would have broken from that!
They all thought the same thing, that Terrier's acting skills were getting better. He looked like he really did have a broken leg!
