Lincoln snorted. "We are doing things according to the letter of the law. So yes, we dare! Arrest them!"

He had come prepared, and there were fifty fully armed elites standing behind him.

His orders had just been issued when tens of men jumped into action and swiftly apprehended Henry and his men.

Henry shouted desperately, "Lincoln Naas! You've bitten off more than you can chew! You dare touch us when we're from the district? You're in for a world of trouble now!”

Lincoln rolled his eyes at them. "Find a larger holding cell and throw them all in there for now."

Soon enough, Henry Lancaster and his men were all detained in a holding cell nearby.

The second the door to the cell was locked, eight burly men in suits marched into view.

These eight men were the strongest and most powerful out of all of Nathan's guards, dubbed the Elite Eight.

The Elite Eight were all tall and burly, with muscles that rippled all over their body.

The black suits they were wearing even gave off the impression that they had donned black armor.

When the eight of them approached, they gave off an impenetrable aura that was akin to that of thousands of warriors.

Everyone there looked to these eight men in awe as they tried to guess why they were there.

With a nonchalant wave of his hand, Lincoln ordered, "Lock these eight men in with Henry Lancaster and the others."

Everyone's eyes flew wide open, Chase's in particulars***! Isn't this exactly the same stunt Henry pulled on Nathan earlier?

Deputy Chief Naas is avenging Nathan! not only did he apprehended Henry and the lot, he was also going to give them a taste of their own medicine.

But Henry had quite a number of men with him, and they were all well-trained men who worked in the Investigation Unit in Alberesque.

Would these eight men be able to handle Henry and his team?

The Elite Eight had just entered the holding cell when sounds of fighting were immediately heard.

And almost simultaneously, they heard Henry's devastating screams as well as the constant wails from his men.

Those in the know knew that it was Henry and his men who were being beaten up; those who didn't might've thought that pigs were being slaughtered inside.

But Chase didn't dare to say anything more. At this stage, Lincoln had only chosen to demote him. If he tried and pushed further, he might end up with the worse outcome of actually taking full responsibility for everything that had happened.

And worse yet, Lincoln might even launch an investigation into all the unscrupulous things he had been involved in over the years.

If it reached that point, it wouldn't be as simple as just being demoted. Heck, even jail time would still be considered a light punishment.

Chase's shoulders sagged as he whispered, "I willingly abide to your arrangements, sir."

Lincoln snorted and turned his attention away from Chase. He looked to Nathan and smiled, "Mr. Cross, those deserving of punishment have all been dealt with. You shouldn't be in a place like this. Let's go somewhere else to talk."

Nathan nodded.

But just as he was about to take a step, Kylie snuck up to him and whispered, "Nathan, when you were detained, someone threatened Penny..."

In a low voice, Kylie told Nathan everything she had overheard between Hector Packwood and Penny.

Though Hector couldn't hear what Kylie was whispering about, he did notice her pointing to him a few times. He knew right away something was wrong.

At that same instant, he also noticed Nathan's expression darkening by the second.
