The Assassin continued to grin viciously and prepared to step on Thomas' chest with more force and kill him at once.

However, Terrence spoke up at this moment, "The Assassin, don't kill him first. We need him as a bait to kill Nathan

Cross.”

The Assassin turned his head slowly and gazed at Terrence coldly. It was obvious that he was unhappy with Terrence's interference.

Terrence's expression changed drastically under his gaze. Zucker hurriedly added, "The Assassin, don't forget that Mr. Turner instructed you to help us. You have to listen to us in this matter."

Only when he heard Mr. Turner's name did viciousness slowly fade from The Assassin's gaze. His entire look turned rather dumb again.

He slowly lifted his foot off Thomas' chest and waddled away.

Terrence and Zucker breathed a sigh of relief. The Assassin was a killing machine, so if they weren't careful, he might even destroy them as well.

At the Riverside Garden, Nathan was putting his daughter to bed.

Penny and Benson were in another room looking after Leah. Leah had caught a cold after she was stuck in the rain when she was out buying groceries today.

After taking the cold medicine, she felt slightly better.

She hadn't eaten anything at night, so she said weakly, "Benson, I want the pea soup from that shop just outside of Riverside Garden as supper."

Although Benson was a meek, law-abiding soul, he cared greatly about his wife. So he said immediately, "I'll go buy it for you. I think the shop is still open.”

But Penny said, "Dad, just stay at home and take care of Mom. I'll get the soup for her."

Then, she left the house by herself.

She bought the pea soup from the shop just outside of Riverside Garden and turned to go back home.

Before she could enter Riverside Garden, a MPV drove up and blocked her path.

A few people jumped down from the car, with a seductively-dressed woman in the lead.

She snorted and gestured for her subordinates to block their way.

Then, she dragged Penny into the car and ordered the driver to drive.

The five men in black rushed at Quinten and Juan with sharp daggers in their hands.

When Quinten saw that the Black Lady had dragged Penny into the MPV which was already moving away, he was flustered and shouted, "Juan, I'll hand these idiots to you. I'm going after Ms. Smith!"

"Alright!"

Juan pulled out his triangular bayonet and met the five men's attacks head on.

Quinten dodged two men who were trying to block his way agilely and started running after the MPV. With a great leap, he landed on the roof of the MPV.

The Black Lady frowned and ordered the driver, "Drive faster! Shake the guy on the roof off!"
