Of the Giselle stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is Salute To The General (Nathan Cross). The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Chapter 431 Do You Dislike Me. Let's read the author's Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) Giselle story right here.
Suddenly, Nathan raised a leg and kicked Lucas in the knee.
Crack!
With a shiver-inducing noise, Lucas' kneecap instantly broke. The man wailed in pain and fell to his knees.
But Nathan didn't stop. He walked right past Lucas.
Whoosh!
Another man dashed toward Nathan's gut.
Nathan raised an arm, grabbed onto his opponent's wrist and instantly snapped it.
"Arghh!" the man screamed and retreated.
Nathan carried on walking like a passerby on a rainy night, ignoring Lucas and his henchmen.
All he wanted was to head over to Mary; he would simply kick aside anyone who got in the way.
By the time he stood before Mary, Lucas and his gang were laying on the ground with broken limbs, moaning in pain.
Mary turned crimson and her heart raced, as though she just had one too many drinks.
Nathan held the black umbrella over Mary's head, shielding her from the rain.
"You're just in time, Mr. Cross,” Mary said excitedly. "I would've been in danger otherwise."
"It's fine now. Let's go!"
Having noticed that Nathan came alone, Mary quickly persuaded him, "We can't just walk out of here without a care. There are still many people searching for me. We're in trouble if they spot us."
Nathan gazed at Mary and asked blankly, "Why can't we walk outside without a care? Did you rob or kill someone?"
Mary subconsciously shook her head.
"No."
"Did you commit a crime?"
"No."
"Then why can't we walk as we please? Let's go.”
Thomas sat in the driver's seat after they entered the car. "Take Ms. Sharp back to her residence," Nathan instructed.
Thomas immediately drove off after finding out that Mary lived at the River Bay Luxury Villas.
The Bentley headed toward River Bay at a moderate pace.
With a large, bearded man in the driver's seat, Mary couldn't help but think about how soaked her dress was. She was so embarrassed that she wanted to learn against Nathan.
He noticed the woman shivering, so he quickly removed his coat and covered her with it. "Use this if you're cold."
Mary was dismayed.Doesn't he have any idea how many men fall for my charms?
I may not be as pretty as Penny, but I'm certainly good-looking too, no?
Unfortunately, Nathan never even gave her a second glance. His eyes remained crystal clear the whole time, obviously unfazed by the woman's beauty.
This made Mary frustrated and disappointed.
She bit her lip and asked softly, "Do you dislike me, Mr. Cross?"
