Nathan, Penny and Leah looked in the direction of the woman's voice and saw a wealthy middle-aged lady donned in jewelry, laughing presumptuously.

The Argentinian Dogo immediately ran to her when it saw her.

It was obvious that she was its owner.

Realizing that the dog's owner had appeared, Penny felt her blood boil once again.

She stepped forward and angrily asked, "Madam, this city bans the ownership of such dogs. Besides, if you are raising such an aggressive dog, why is it not on a leash or muzzled? What if it hurts someone?"

The chubby lady sneered, "What are you trying to say? Did my dog actually hurt anyone?"

Penny raged. "What is it with your attitude? Your dog just charged at us and snatched my mother's groceries from her hands. That was so scary!"

The lady placed her hands on her hips. "My dog, Bolt, merely ate your chicken. I'll just return you the money. Even if my dog bit your mother and caused her death, I'm sure I'll still be able to afford it. My family has all the money in the world. Your lives are not as valuable as my dog's."

It was the first time Penny had seen someone so unreasonable. She shook with anger and said, ‘Tm calling the police to take your dog away."

This lady did not have a dog certificate, and Channing banned the ownership of such dog breeds.

She narrowed her eyes and replied anxiously, "If you dare call the police to take Bolt away, I will first get him to kill you. Bolt! Charge and attack!"

The fierce dog obeyed his owner's command and immediately bared his fangs at Penny.

With a roar, he charged at Penny and opened his mouth to bare his sharp fangs.

Penny screamed in fear.

The lady laughed in triumph, "Haha, wretch, he will kill you!"

Just as Bolt was about to sink his fangs into Penny, a figure suddenly moved forward to protect her. He was none other than Nathan.

The Argentinian Dogo could not care less and pounce. He stood on his hind legs and opened his mouth, wanting to bite Nathan's neck.

Ben, the head of security at Riverside Garden, together with a few others, came over. When they saw the lady mourning and screaming, they asked in surprise, "Mrs. Kemp, what's wrong?"

She was the wife of Channing's prominent landlord, Colton Kemp.

When Mrs. Kemp saw Ben and the other security guards, she cried as though they were her saviors. "They murdered my son!"

When Ben heard her explanation, his eyes widened and he asked cautiously, "I see. But if so, where is your son's corpse?"

Mrs. Kemp wiped her tears and pointed to her dead dog. "Isn't that his corpse?"

Ben was taken aback. Shortly after, an awkward expression crept onto his face.

He replied in embarrassment, "Mrs. Kemp, isn't this a dog?"

She yelled in exasperation, "What is wrong with that? I raised this dog like my son and this bastard killed him. He must pay for it with his life!"
