Instinctively, Colton took the phone. On the screen was the man none other than Russell Crow.

When the call connected, Russell was in a meeting with the other officials of Channing. Even Francis Talbot was present.

Colton's heart was pounding as he mumbled his greetings, "Mr. Crow, Mr. Talbot, a pleasure to see you."

Russell Crow was confused. Nathan was the one who had called him, but Colton was the one who appeared on the screen.

It was then Nathan picked up the ashtray from the table and slammed it down Colton's head.

Fury still burned bright in Nathan. He kept slamming the ashtray onto his head until it broke apart. By now, the only color on Colton's head was red. Only then, Nathan stopped. Russell and the rest on the other end of the call were astounded.

In a placid tone, Nathan asked, "Can we talk about the office building now?"

Colton, whose head was bleeding profusely, picked up the phone and wailed, "He's hitting me! The lunatic's hitting me! Mr. Crow, you've seen him hitting me.

Hurry up and send someone to take him to jail!"

Russell, Jerry, and the rest were shaking their heads.

Russell said, "Colton, don't make false accusations. All of us were watching earlier. You were the one who could not keep your balance. That's why you hit your head on the table. It has nothing to do with Mr. Cross."

Jerry added, "Colton, please focus while you're in business talks with Mr. Cross. Don't try to stir trouble while you're doing it. If you dare disrespect him, don't beg for our mercies when we coming after you."

Colton's eyes were wide in disbelief.

He raised his head to look at Nathan with fear in his eyes.

After noticing the men's attitudes toward him, Colton finally realized that Nathan was not someone he should offend.

Nathan indifferently repeated his question, "Can we talk about it now?"

Colton squeezed out an ugly smile. "Of course, Mr. Cross, we can talk about anything."

Penny was waiting anxiously outside the door. When Nathan did not come out after a while, her anxiety heightened.
