Nathan did not wait for Jay to say anything before he hung up.

Thinking that Nathan had been calling Zayn, a cold and expectant gleam shone in David's eyes.

Up, on the rooftops, a few teams of snipers were trying to find the best location to snipe from. Their movements were swift as they assembled their sniper rifles and aimed them at the hotel lobby.

David and his men were completely stunned at the sight.

He whipped his head around to stare at Nathan, muttering accusingly, "You'd called the police?"

He had thought that Nathan would be calling Zayn, not the police!

What puzzled him more, was that he and Mr. Cote had already spoken to the various leaders of Glyngarth, requesting that they turn a blind eye to what would happen.

But then why had the police still been mobilized? And such an intimidating turnout too!

Just who is this man? Even the governor has to be so deferential to him!

The Smiths were equally bewildered as they exchanged glances with each other.

Nathan shook hands with Jay before retracting his hand. His tone was neutral when he commented, "Governor Watts, the public order here in Glyngarth is quite terrible! We've only been here two days and this is the third time we've run into trouble!"

The consequences of the General getting angry were too horrible to think about.

Jay hurriedly replied, "I'll handle this right away! Right away!"

When he turned to look at David, his expression was stern.

In a low tone, he ordered the police, "Capture these criminals and punish them severely!"
