The Only One Series novel Chapter 16

I woke up and groaned grabbing my head. What the hell happened I wondered. I then remembered Lana. I looked around and didn't see her. I slowly stood up and stumbled to the Viking MC. When I entered Steve yelled what the hell happened to you and where is Lana? I don't know I said grabbing ice and putting it to my head. Doc walked over looking at my head and said. You need stitches. All I remember was telling Lana we needed to walk back here to the club and then nothing.

Where were you? Down behind the clubhouse at the creek. You three prospects go look around and see what you can find then get back here and let me know. I watched them walk away as doc stitched my head up. My brothers are going to kill me when they find out Lana is missing again. Son of a bitch when I catch who did this they are dead.

Steve paced the floor and saw the prospects walk in. There were four other sets of footprints and they lead through the wood up to the road. We have to find her and find her now I said walking away. In the meantime, Lana had been riding in the car for three hours. She dozed off ended up falling asleep her head fall against one of the men. I looked down at her and then at her belly. I was angry how could Gunner come back long enough to get her pregnant and then leave again? Tanner? What? How could you buddy do this to her? Tanner growled. I don't know.

I just know that she never deserved to be treated the way Gunner has treated her. She kept all of us alive with her care packages and little notes. She did not have to take us under her care but she did. Gunner said when she found out that we had no family she decided to make us her brothers and take care of us. Making sure we received letters and things from home our home towns such as our newspaper and hygiene products laughing he said. She even sent rubbers to make sure if we had sex with any of the women we were safe from STD's.

We were all jealous of Gunner. We didn't have a girlfriend to come home to but he had the most beautiful, caring woman you could ask for. He doesn't deserve her. As her adopted brother it is my responsibility to make sure she is safe and taken care of. Did you know that I got a post office box so that she could continue to write to me? She always sent me a letter once a week. She never told me she was in this condition. She did tell me that Gunner never came home to her and she didn't know what she did to make him no longer want her.

I hated Gunner the day I got that letter telling me that Gunner did not come home to her and she wanted to know if she was not beautiful enough for him. I wanted to kill him for breaking her heart. Were almost to the compound. Make sure that all the club members know she is hands off. She is not to be disrespected and she is to be treated like a queen because to me she is. She is my sister.
