The Only One Series novel Chapter 28

I spent my first night in my house. I love this house. I don't know why but it felt like it was built for me. Like I was always supposed to live here. I was standing outside looking at it smiling. I was thinking that the only thing missing was a husband and children. Then the pain hit me and I grabbed my head and fell to the ground. I was smoking a cigarette leaning against the clubhouse wall near the door watching her. She was smiling when I saw her grab her head and fell to the ground.

I threw my smoke to the ground and ran across the street to her. Leigh, I yelled her name. I picked her up and ran back to my clubhouse yelling for the doctor. My club members watched me running in with a woman in my arms. What happened Doc asked? I don't know. I saw her looking at the house smiling and then she grabbed her head and fell to the ground. I looked from Leigh's face to the doctors and saw he had gone white.

Doc, "what is wrong?" It can't be her. She is in a coma. If Gunner finds her here he will go ape shit crazy. Doc this is not Lana this is Leigh the new woman who works for Diamond. She bought my house. I looked from the woman laying on my table and then Spider. Did you sell the house to her? You said the only woman who would live there would be Lana your true love. I grinned. Doc this is Lana only, she doesn't remember who she is. I think you need to contact Falcon and find out why she may have lost her memory.

Let me check her over first. I watched the doctor as he examined Leigh. She will be fine. She will wake up soon. I sat with her while the doctor walked to his desk. I heard him say "Falcon I need to ask you some questions." I blocked out the rest of what he was asking just looking at the beautiful woman lying in front of me. I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked up and doc said step outside with me I need to talk to you.

I walked out of the door and we walked down the hall so if she woke up she would not hear us. For her to have grabbed her head and passed out she must have thought of something or memory hit her and her mind blocked it out. According to Falcon's doctor who was taking care of Leigh or (Lana) she had gone through a lot of shit with Gunner. She was so depressed that her mind chooses to block him and her kids out. Their doctor said that she needs good memories a new life but I need to warn you. If she gains her memory the children are to be returned to her. Are you willing to take care of them if that happens? Hell, yes I am.

I just hope that she will learn to trust me. I want her to be happy. Then start getting to know her. Take her out on dates, invite her to club activities, get to know her and show her love. Now let's go see how she is. As we walked into the room we saw she was still unconscious. I sat down next to her and must have fallen asleep. I woke up feeling someone running their hands through my hair. I slowly looked up at her and said "Hi." Hi yourself. Spider what am I doing here? You were looking at the house and then grabbed your head and fell to the ground.

I don't remember doing that. I remember looking at the house and not believing that I have a home that I always dreamed of having. It is perfect. Just missing a husband and children but that will come in time one day. I hope I said frowning and grabbing my head. Spider, have you ever felt like you forgot something and every time you try to remember all you feel is pain? I have felt that way a few times. Maybe we just aren't supposed to remember. Maybe I said.

Leigh, we are having a family BBQ this weekend at our campground. Would you go with me? I looked at him and noticed his face was a little red. I would love to go with you to the BBQ. I saw him smile and his eyes had a sparkle in them. Wear jeans but bring shorts and a swimsuit. You don't want to ride behind my bike that early in the morning with shorts on. I smiled and said ok. I will pick you up at 7:00 am on Saturday. I can't wait.

The doctor walked over to my bed and said "you can go home now." You will be fine. I also can't wait to see you Saturday and have you meet my wife and children. It is nice to have you living across the street and not some people who will complain about our club. I watched him walk out the door and turned and looked at Spider when he called my name. He held out his hand and helped me down from the bed. I followed him down the hall and out of this club. He walked me home and to my door before saying goodbye.
