The Only One Series novel Chapter 87

We rode down I 75 toward Jackson Center. We soon took the exist to take us through town to the lake. We have a reserved group camp and just signed in before driving to the reserved area. It was close to the beach and bathrooms and shower rooms.

We pulled all the bikes in and parked them. I got off and lifted Donna from my bike. She handed me her helmet and we walked over to the trailer. Johnny told Donna to put her tent up between his and mine. She didn't argue. She knows what she is doing.

I watched as she took her sleeping bag in and lay it out flat. Then she lay a blanket and sheet to the side and put her pillow on the sleeping bag. She put her backpack inside then zipped the screen shut and tied the flaps back. I noticed she had a battery operated fan.

I watched her set up the lawn chairs that Johnny brought from the house. Then she lit a cigarette. I noticed her watching some of the member having problems getting their tents up. She walked over and helped them.

Within one hour all the tents were up. It usually takes three hours to get the tents up. Soon everyone had there sleeping bags and blankets and pillows laid out in their tents. Chairs were set up along with several screened tents so everyone could eat in comfort.

The girls decided to take a walk around the campgrounds. They were gone for an hour. We saw them walking back with a bag in there arms. I watched as Donna pulled out a coffee pot filled it with water and put it on the grill.

Once it was hot she opened what I thought was a tea bag but it was coffee. She also put powdered creamer in the cup then walked over and sat talking to Luna, Dottie, Iris, Lisa, Grace and Johnny's girlfriend Dawn.

We heard them laughing all but Donna. Her mind seemed to be somewhere else. I saw Iris and Donna talking. They were talking a lot. I wonder what about.

Donna can I ask you something? Sure you can. Are you scared of Berserk? No, I am not scared of him. Do you trust him? I don't know he well enough to trust him or not. I have known him for a long time now.

He was one of the members who rescued me and my sisters. He doesn't date do you know that? Nope. Well he doesn't. He is waiting for the right woman. He dated once. She cheated on him. It broke his heart.

He is very gentle with woman and kids. I am not saying he doesn't have anger issues. He does. He is not called Berserk for no reason. When he gets mad it is for a very good reason. I have never seen him put his hands on a woman before.

But then again. Everyone knows he doesn't like to be touched. But he likes to do the touching. What do you mean? I told her about the times he has touched me. Her mouth dropped open. Who does the cooking when we camp out?
