Alex Rockefeller was distraught. How could Zendaya Stoermer handle such a large demonic ape on her own?

Alex recalled that Jade Benmore had fought against demon beasts in the ancient boundary for several decades, and she might have seen such ancient giant demons. He immediately opened Kala Temple’s door and summoned Jade from within.

“What is a demonic ape?” Jade asked.

Surprisingly, Jade seemed dumbfounded by this name. She had never heard it, let alone seen it. When Jade leaped into the air and saw the complete footprint, a shocked expression appeared on her face.

“How could such a large footprint exist? How fall is this giant ape?” Jade asked.

“The demonic apes, Vajra Demonic Apes, originate from the ancient prehistoric times. They are considered prehistoric mutants. Even in the prehistoric mutant realm, they are at the top of the food chain. The strongest among the demonic apes can even become gods capable of destroying a planet with a single punch and crushing the galaxy with a single stomp of their foot,” Yuno explained.

Alex and Jade were both dumbfounded by what they heard.

Right then, the longer Jade looked at Yuno, the more familiar she found her to be. After a while, Jade finally recalled. “Aren’t you the daughter of Michigan’s mayor? How would you know all these things? Your cultivation…”

Yuno looked at Jade coldly.

Even if Jade’s cultivation was higher than Yuno’s right now, she was still insignificant in Yuno’s eyes. Yuno could kill Jade by stepping on her like she were an ant. Yuno couldn’t be bothered to answer Jade’s question either.

Instead, she spoke to Alex. “If your woman really bumped into a demonic ape, I’m sorry to say that she’s most likely dead. Demonic apes are ferocious. They’d have swallowed your woman whole.”

Alex’s expression turned cold. He refused to believe this. “Before finding her corpse, I refuse to believe it. I won’t give up either,” Alex said.

Jade laughed and placed one hand on his shoulder. “You are my disciple. Your wife and child are in danger. As your master, I can’t possibly stand by without doing anything. Don’t worry. Even if it’s the lion’s den, your master will brace it with you!” she said.

“Thank you, Master,” Alex looked at Jade and said.

Yuno shrugged. “Since you’ve decided, I won’t advise you against it. Anyway, I don’t care. Even if I can’t beat it, it won’t be a problem for me to escape,” she said.

After discussing for a while, the three immediately followed the footprints toward the west.

The footprints were oddly huge. The distance between each footprint was also significant, and it could go up to a thousand meters. In fact, some were even further apart. Alex and the others needed to fly higher into the sky to find the next one.

The further ahead they went, the more surprised Alex felt.
