Alex Rockefeller was speechless. Weren’t gene structures the same as DNA?
Alex didn’t know how Ms. Khloe would carry out the examination, but she got out of the boat three minutes later. “The examination is done. These two are indeed father and daughter! Get in the car. Sam, help this disabled person out. I’ll carry the child. There is three horned deer’s milk in the car.”
“What milk?” Alex cried out.
Was that poisoned milk?
“Three horned deer’s milk! Three horned deer are level four demon beasts. Their milk is very nutritious. In fact, it’s much better than human milk,” Ms. Khloe said.
That meant this world also had artificial milk. Alex didn’t know what brand it was.
Upon getting onto the boat, Alex could see it clearly. This wasn’t actually a boat, but it just looked like one. There were wheels underneath it. In fact, spiritual energy was sprayed out continuously. That meant it was powered via a kind of spiritual energy.
“You stink. It smells like… You pooped in your pants,” Dory said to Alex.
“I didn’t poop in my pants. There’s poop on my neck. Give it a sniff if you don’t believe me!” Alex said truthfully.
The boat… Oh, no. The car started moving slowly.
Alex glanced at the forest and realized Crazy Crone still hadn’t come out. Feeling a little disappointed, he sighed in his heart.
‘Could she be dead?’
‘Why… Why did she snatch my daughter away?’
Crazy Crone was a lunatic person. Alex would never get an answer for this. When Alex looked at her daughter, who Ms. Khloe was carrying, he realized that this ugly lady seemed to be quite fond of children. She radiated a motherly glow, and she appeared as if she was looking at her daughter.
“Urgh. You really do stink!” Dory actually sniffed Alex’s neck.
“How did you poop on your neck?” she covered her mouth and asked.
“You’ll understand once you have your children…” Alex said.
Alex was able to relax now.
He was rapidly recovering from his injuries. The people in front of him all had average cultivation. Although Ms. Khloe was the strongest among them, she was only at Core Formation. Previously, Alex was still quite intimidated. But now, there was no reason for that.
“These rejuvenation pills… They are of very high quality. Where did you get them from?” Ms. Khloe asked.
“Can I not tell you?” Alex didn’t want to say he was an alchemist. That was because this place was too strange. He was completely unfamiliar with it, and he was afraid he might get into trouble accidentally.
“Hey, you are an ungrateful person. Ms. Khloe just saved you and your daughter! Can’t you tell us where you got these pills from?” Dory uttered.
“About that… An old woman saved us earlier. She forbade me to tell anyone!” Alex said.
“An old woman? Is she someone with a head full of silver hair in her sixties and carries a walking stick around?” Ms. Khloe asked.
“Uhm, It seems like it… Yeah! ” Alex said.
“You really are lucky. You have bumped into the Great Alchemist, Madam Mona. That explains why that person was so generous,” Ms. Khloe said.
“You snuck off a boat to get here. That probably means you’re a refugee who escaped from North Cali Magnum City! Sigh. Magnum City was hit by waves of beasts. It’s probably gone now. Is my guess accurate?” she added.
“You are indeed smart. You have my respect!” Alex said.
