Whoosh!
Hermione Yggdrasil swung her sword. It shot directly at Alex.
The speed it traveled at was not any slower than when it was on land.
“F*ck, she just won’t give up!” Alex spat, then teleported to dodge the blow.
A few seconds later, he realized that the Reflective Eye couldn’t produce her mirror images if it were to protect her. But, as Hermione was alone, Alex was not afraid of her.
‘I need to grab that magic treasure!’
Once Alex made up his mind, he stopped in his tracks immediately. Then, he secretly set up barriers and formations under the swamp. Hermione was also a little surprised because Alex had been sinking downward with his daughter before this, but now he had actually stopped and drawn a circle here. She watched as he pinched his fingers together, pointing east or west occasionally. She didn’t know what the hell he was doing.
But what surprised her the most was the green light that was emitting from Bubbles’ body. It seemed to give her a feeling of panic in her heart, so it was definitely a rare thing.
“Hey, brat. You’re almost at your end. If you go further down, there won’t be anywhere else to go!” Hermione said through telepathy.
“Are you really willing to bring your daughter to death with you? I’ve never seen a father like you, ever.”
Alex paused.
A strange smile bloomed across his face. “I don’t intend to run anymore. The one who should be considering whether you should run or not should be you! How about this, let’s make a deal. Hand over the mirror in your body, and I’ll let you go.”
Hermione roared with laughter. “Where did this confidence come from that you dare to threaten me?”
Alex smiled and snapped his fingers.
Whoosh!
“Let me go! Fight me one on one if you have the ability!” Hermione shrieked.
Alex laughed and stepped closer to her. “Go on and scream. In this kind of place, even if you scream till you lose your voice, it’s useless.”
Even though he was standing less than half a meter in front of her, she couldn’t attack him at all. Instead, the ancient rune chains that locked her in place gave off a feeling like it was trying to pull her body apart.
The silver gloss that covered her body was extremely dense. It made her look like a futuristic robot.
Alex reached out with his hand to touch Hermione’s face. When it made contact, it felt like touching the skin of a real person. It was smooth, and there was a sense of elasticity.
Hermione felt goosebumps all over her. “Ah, what the hell are you doing? Let go, let me go!”
Alex’s sadistic humor increased, and he gently slid his finger down her face. It slid over her chin, neck, collarbone and finally came to her chest He said, “Didn’t you say you wanted to be my cultivation partner? I can give you a demonstration of that. How about that?”
