Alex let out a sigh of relief.
‘It looks like the great Genbu is really reliable. It doesn’t matter who you are, not even this Yavda Akaaran Buddha, the great Genbu would make your attacks seem feeble.’
However, just as he was about to smile, the monk vanished from the carriage, appearing right in front of Alex in a blink of an eye. Then, with a dark golden fist, he swung harshly toward them.
It was way too fast for the naked eye. This was, in fact, the power of regulation.
Before Alex could realize it, that strong wave of power landed right on his Mystic Armor.
Clang!
It didn’t break.
Clang!
It still didn’t break after the second punch.
‘Nice.’
‘But… This is just so frustrating. Why is this happening? Apart from blocking him with my armor, I really don’t have anything else or energy left to fightback with.’
“What a tough turtle shell. Let’s see how many more times you can take my attacks!”
Boom boom boom!
“Oh, and call that lady in your head to come out here! What? Is she cowering from seeing my true form?”
“Come out, come on! Come out and fight me if you dare!”
Boom boom boom boom, boom boom boom…
Back then, when the monk’s divided soul had been destroyed, he was still able to hear the lady telling him to get lost at the very last moments. Hence, that was why he knew that there was a soul of a powerful woman within Alex’s body.
Alex finally understood that he was utterly helpless under the monk’s attacks. This was his domain, after all.
His fists were hard and heavy as if he had turned into the Hulk. Every punch felt like a large boulder crashing down, making Alex feel as if his organs were about to burst, giving him tremendous pain.
Seeing her master being beaten up like this, she couldn’t help but cry due to their helplessness. She thought they wouldn’t survive.
Some were starting to whisper amongst themselves, not knowing what was going to happen next. Yet a ray of purple light radiated from Alex’s chest as a woman’s voice filled the air.
“If you want to see me that much, then I shall grant your wish.
“Uhm…”
Alex was able to hear it very clearly. This voice was the same as that woman before, calm yet cold and indifferent towards everything.
“You’re… My past self?”
‘Couldn’t you have been of another gender?’ Alex was slightly conflicted.
He had hoped that he misheard last time, but now it was clear that the person inside him was a woman. The soul in his chest did n’t reply. Instead, a ray of light rushed out of Alex’s body.
The light was merely a figure, wrapped in a divine glow. Hence, no one was able to see their real face. Despite this, their presence was enough to show how powerful they were. It felt invincible, infinite and unexplainable. However, it was apparent that this wasn’t a man.
