“This… Is the sword heart that you’ve forged with your life?”
Alex was shocked as this thing was equivalent to the soul of the Seventy two Heavenly Immortal-slaying Formation. How important it was.
The lady in red shook her head. “Not really. This is just a small portion of the sword heart!”
Alex also shook his head. “Senior, this is the sword heart that you’ve forged with your life. It’s also the soul of the spell formation here. I can’t take it away. You’re going to guard this place eternally. If I take away this, the strength of this spell formation will decline, and it will affect you too.”
Commander Red said with a smile, “You’ve passed my test, so this originally belongs to you. Don’t worry. Nothing will happen here. Instead, the Olympian Army on America’s side will be a disaster. You take this chunk of sword heart. It contains a small Heavenly Immortal-slaying Formation that can have miraculous effects. There are some insights of my research on spell formations inside. Check it out when you’re free.”
Then, the two people talked for a long while.
Alex had learned many secrets from her and had a more intuitive and concrete understanding of ancient times. That was really an age full of heroes and passion.
At the same time, he had also heard more about the Olympian Army’s despicability.
Now that that race had made a comeback and unexpectedly descended on the other end of the ancient force field, the Wasteland would be in big trouble. So, he wished dearly that he could run back right away.
After the conversation between the lady in red and Alex ended, she lay on the bed again, motionless. She did not even breathe.
This still seemed a little strange.
Alex touched the sword heart in his hand. It was cool and smooth upon touch. It seemed to be weightless, but there were bursts of energy fluctuations. He sensed it with his mental strength, but the sword heart gradually vanished in his palm and turned into a blast of energy, surprisingly rushing into his eyes right away.
‘The small Heavenly Immortal-slaying Formation!’
As silver light flickered in Alex’s eyes, he read the information on the sword heart. A mass of insights and the knowledge base of spell formations had also entered his sea of consciousness.
Alex turned around and looked at the Mystic Maiden of the Nine Heavens and the old pig, only to discover that both were snoring loudly in their sleep on the ground. He thought that the mental burst of the lady in red earlier must have knocked them out right away.
Alex exhaled and said, “They went to great lengths to hunt us till we were helpless. It’s time to fight back. Those two chickens really deserve to die.”
The Mystic Maiden’s beautiful eyes gleamed. “What benefits did the female corpse in red give you?”
Alex replied, “You’ll know later.”
After finished speaking, he walked out gallantly right away. In fact, Dolores and Sam could not get into the stone house at all because that was the crux of the entire spell formation. If it weren’t for the Mystic Maiden, Alex would not have been able to get here with his level of spell formation alone. The two peacocks were not as good as Alex in studying spell formations, so it would be even more difficult.
They were able to chase till here was all because Dolores had done something to Alex. She was only able to find all the way here with that wisp of aura.
When Alex saw Dolores and Sam’s current looks, he could not help laughing. They looked wretched and were covered in blood. Half of Sam’s face was ruined, collapsed, as if something had smashed it. She looked horrid.
“I’m here! Are you guys not dead yet?!” Alex asked mockingly with a smile.
