The people who came did not have good intentions.
“Mom, Beatrice, you guys take the kids into the house first. Don’t worry. Nothing bad will happen.” Alex comforted Brittany and the others. Seeing several children’s nervous expressions, one seemed to tell the mood inside the Rockefeller family estate.
A group of people who had not yet left heard the sound coming from outside and knew that the visitors did not have good intentions.
Divine Constabulary’s Sky told Alex, “The Miller family and Henderson family are not simple people. They and the Hancock family are a legacy of the ancient times of an ancient clan. They have so much power. Before this, the three families hid behind the scenes, not showing their faces. But now, they couldn’t resist and had to reveal themselves. The Hancock family established Homan Technology, the Miller family also chaos creatures, and the Henderson family created a group called Six Paths Chemicals, all in the light of the huge developments. In fact, it is the equivalent of plundering…”
Listening to Sky’s introduction, Alex became speechless.
Homan technology, chaos creatures, Six Paths Chemicals. What were these names? One was more badass than the other. These were names that could make anyone blush.
But Sky’s message was clear, the opposing parties were not to he messed with. Even fat Gordon leaned forward, frowned, and said those were not good to deal with. The atmosphere around the middle of the night was forceful. Everyone’s hearts were unhappy with the visitors, and they all had a plan.
Brittany nodded and instructed him to be careful.
Alex smiled. “Don’t worry. I guess those guys outside wouldn’t be able to beat a pig.”
Pigsy was unhappy. “Hmph! Alex, what do you mean by that? Looking down on pigs, are you? I dare say. All of you here, all of you cannot beat me.”
The crowd looked at Pigsy in complete disbelief.
It was just a pig. It wasn’t like they hadn’t eaten it before.
Pigsy could not stand the gaze of everyone, feeling that his pig’s pride had been hurt. Furious, he wailed, “You don’t believe me, do you? Well, then I will let you see what crushing is!”
Similar to Shirley, she was fancied by Mount Olympus’ divine son. She was given the magic treasure and selected as one of the candidates. Another one, a woman from the Henderson family named Marilyn, was also one of the competitors. Once Mount Olympus’ divine son descended, one of the three would be chosen to get married according to their respective performance.
However, Marilyn did not come today.
Josephine looked at Charming and said, “Senior Miller, you think too highly of that dude named Rockefeller, don’t you? A native of the present era has never had a foundation for cultivation and has only risen in recent years among the general population… The way I see it, he experienced strange encounters mostly by happenstance. There is nothing remarkable about him. How can he be compared with a family with thousands of years of heritage like ours?”
Channing said. “Don’t be proud. Stay humble.”
Josephine sneered. She wasn’t one to admit that anyone was better than her, especially within the younger generation.
After being told by Mount Olympus’ messenger that she would be among the candidates for the divine son’s wife, she eliminated Shirley and Marilyn inside her heart, feeling that only she could be worthy of the divine son. Anyone else was out of the question. Only she could be the future wife of the divine son, in line to develop the divine race.
