The speaker earlier was a man who looked well, there was nothing to be described. They were all skeletons, a pile of ribs wearing various strange outfits, and spoke the common language of antiquity. It indicated that they hailed from the same realm and same universe as Earth.
It was worth mentioning that the man’s team comprised thirteen people. It was to be considered a powerful force for thirteen trialists joining forces in the Underworld.
Alex, however, activated the X-ray vision of his divine eyes. When he saw through their clothes, battle robes, helmets and the bone patterns, he instantly shook his head in disappointment.
More than half of them had green bone patterns. The two strongest people among them had red bone patterns.
They were insufficient to satisfy the current Alex. He would’ve rather picked up a few bodies of the corpse soldiers as they also possessed bone patterns. Moreover, most of their bone patterns were red.
Seeing Alex shaking his head slightly, the man who just spoke immediately became furious. “Brat, you better be smarter. You can’t keep the treasures with just the two of you. Instead of getting killed, why don’t you hand them over obediently? I promise I won’t lay a hand on you.”
Alex indifferently replied, “You can’t get them because your team isn’t strong enough.”
“To hell with you!” that man cursed and was about to attack Alex.
Just then, someone said, “He’s right. You trialists from the Heavenly Ship are at the bottom of the entire Perseus Galaxy, not to mention you now face powerhouses of all manner in the universe. No matter what he acquired his hands on, you people from the Heavenly Ship won’t be able to get your hands on them. You wouldn’t be able to keep them even if you acquired them. So, get lost now. I’ll pretend that you never appeared,” the person growled in a discourteous and harsh tone.
He clearly knew about those so-called Heavenly Ship trialists and used to have conflicts with them. However, he was not on any team. He was alone with a bone demon bear.
As a result, the Heavenly Ship trialists really retreated from the battlefield and left in less than three seconds after hearing a few words from the man.
How much fear did they have for him?
Xerxes talked to Alex via divine sense. “Brat, that guy and that bear aren’t difficult opponents. Just let me deal with them. Don’t stall for time. The longer you stall, the more the people will rush over! You have to be careful… Also, I’ll settle with you later for deceiving me about you being York Hancock.”
“Huh..?”
‘Well, who wanted to become my relative shamelessly just now?!’ Alex complained in his heart.
At this moment, many people had actually gathered around him. Some were close to him, while some were further away. More people were watching him, trying to sit back and reap the benefits from the tussle.
‘Sigh! Forget it! These trialists are weak, and their bone patterns are inferior to those from the corpse soldiers, so I don’t have to lure them here!’
The dragon horn in Xerxes’ hand clashed with the opponent’s long sword. It was undoubtedly a whitewash. The long sword severed easily and broke into half.
The man was shocked as that was definitely beyond his expectation, his sheer might making his hair stand on its ends, if only he bad hair, especially those bone spines emerging from his back.
What the hell were those?
Roar!
That man’s companion, the bone demon bear, came forward to help him. However, Xerxes’s flying sword blocked it.
That flying sword’s power was Xerxes’ true ultimate skill. It was a certain kill with one blow!
Alex was relieved when he saw that.
On the other hand, those onlookers around him gasped as Xerxes’ combat power was a little too strong. Thus, many people began to flinch and retreat involuntarily. However, some powerful people were reluctant to do so.
