He quickly picked up Freeborn and Fairy Fay’s bones on the ground. Felicity, the survivor, still remained. Yet he couldn’t kill her because he still had to ask her where Daya and the others were.
Alex, Xerxes, and the others had identified a direction to break through the encirclement. In fact, the rest of the trialists followed, as Alex’s strength had earned their recognition. At this moment, the enemies stood before them at this moment, so they naturally had to act together to have a slightly higher chance of survival.
When Alex turned around, he saw a total of one hundred trialists following him. He and Xerxes looked at each other, but they did not drive them away.
Breaking through the encirclement would do them no harm.
Just then, someone shouted, “Look, quickly! That bodhisattva statue is following us?! D*mn! What the hell?!”
“What?!” Alex was startled.
To his surprise, he really saw the bodhisattva statue, which was carved out of the Bodhi tree and unfazed no matter how hard he tried, covered in golden light. It was following his team closely from behind. It had run out of the imperial palace.
Upon encountering such a situation, Alex felt a little distressed.
This bodhisattva was ominous!
Pigsy cried, “This bodhisattva must have manifested itself, right?”
Xerxes Lawlor looked at Alex. “Alex, did it come over to follow you?”
Alex was uncertain, so he hurriedly teleported and headed in another direction. However, he found that the statue had turned into a ray of golden light and moved from its original spot to another direction for three miles, keeping about one hundred meters away from Alex all the time.
He teleported thrice in a row but ended up with the same results. Alex was certain that this bodhisattva was really following him. However, he still had no way to break past its force field of golden light and couldn’t reach in to draw out the holy energy.
‘Forget it! I’ll just think of it as a shadow!’ Alex thought about it and got back on track to rendezvous with Xerxes.
Half a minute later, all the trialists were in close combat with the corpse soldiers as their encirclement shrank
“Kill…”
“Fight our way out! Fight for the future!”
The corpse soldiers were massive, their numbers far exceeding their expectations.
Alex did not hold back, holding the Xavion Sword in one hand and the Golden Spear in the other. He also took out the Requiem Clock to ring it from time to time, wiping out the corpse soldiers rapidly like a knife through butter. The other trialists also launched all kinds of attacks. A light-attributed trialist even chanted incantations to bless everyone, increasing both their strength and speed, and cast light-attributed soul shields, becoming the most astounding supporter.
“Kill!”
Three minutes later, the towering mountain floating in the sky finally landed with a boom, shaking the entire land with peerless, overwhelming force that swept all over the land.
“Hurry up! Come out!”
“There are dreadful devils in the mountain!”
The crowd shouted and madly killed the corpse soldiers to break through the encirclement. It was then that a large red palanquin suddenly appeared ahead. A row of bone demons with dark golden bone patterns even squatted on each side of the palanquin. Over a hundred of them, each stared at the trialists with a manic aura.
Alex’s heart sank “Principal Lawlor, I’m afraid we have to depend on your honey trap.”
Needless to say, the Corpse Princess was definitely inside the large red palanquin.
However, Alex was instantly dumbfounded upon looking at the scene inside after the curtain of the palanquin was lifted.
It turned out to be… Dorothy Assex!
