Though colorful, the light mass imprisoning Dorothy carried Daoist energy. This place was like an ancient altar.
These Daoist rules that bound Dorothy, who could not move in the slightest, were swirling out of the altar.
“Don’t struggle. It’s useless.” Xienna’s soul floated in front, and she spoke indifferently as she looked at Dorothy, who was still trying to wiggle her way out.
Dorothy’s face was already red from exerting herself, more so due to the use of secret power, resulting in meridians swelling and pain. Her skin also appeared in different degrees of chapping. Blood seeped out little by little until it spread all over the body.
However, it was all for naught. She was completely unable to shake off the multicolored pellet.
Xienna looked at the ancient altar that had long turned into ruins. She seemed to be reminiscing, talking to herself.
“You know, I’m about to forget this place.”
Dorothy knew she couldn’t struggle away.
Once, when Xienna squeezed her soul in some corner, she was also secretly building tlp her strength and sizing her opponent up. When she was in the Underworld, she had a more intuitive concept, and after regaining her body, she had thought of a way to deal with Xienna properly.
However, she never expected that the key was not out of Xienna’s soul. Instead, it was on this damn altar.
She hadn’t noticed these multicolored imprisoning pellets at all, not until she launched her attack on Xienna, attempting to cut off their relationship completely. Suddenly, Xienna let the pellets go, easily confining her.
“Where is this?” Dorothy asked.
Xienna looked around for a moment and said, “Do you remember Stoermer Sect, the appointed platform?”
Dorothy had heard of Stoermer Sect. It was the most prosperous and powerful sect in the ancient era.
Dorothy replied, “It’s a bit ridiculous, but it’s also pitiful.”
“Yeah, right!”
“You can keep looking, but please don’t take me with you! No matter how important the person you’re looking for is, it’s unimportant to me.”
It was hard for Dorothy to imagine if Xienna had really found her man, then taking her to live with him. She might as well die if that were the case.
Xienna sighed, “Unfortunately, there was a problem with reincarnation. You are just an accident.”
Dorothy was enraged. “What do you mean my existence is because of an accident? I shouldn‘t have my own life? Does it mean I can let you dictate where I belong? What about you? What are you? To put it bluntly, you are already a dead person… A ghost, a wisp of obsession unwilling to reincarnate!”
