Cedric nodded. “Fine!”
“By the way, Cedric, where’s your granddaughter been lately? After Clive met Esmeralda once, he’s been thinking about her. I think they can both try getting along,” the other old man said to Cedric. If he were to be seen outside, he would be instantly recognized. That was the Chief of America.
Cedric sighed. “My Esmeralda is a tomboy. I can’t even meet her. If Clive is capable, he should chase after her by himself.”

It wasn’t only American top brass, but echelons from some prominent countries were watching the live stream as well.
Unfortunately, many of those people were puzzled about American texts and had completely no idea about them, not to mention that they were handwritten by Alex in English. The mantra was also old-fashioned and slightly hard to pronounce. The foreigners were in a predicament. Translation software failed to give a proper translation, or the translated texts would be crappy.
“Go find an interpreter who understands English! Hurry up!”
“I want to learn what’s written right away!”
Many top echelons and foreign conglomerate leaders roared and cursed till they ran out of breath. ‘D*mn it! Why was it in English?’
The most despicable thing was that…
Even if those so-called English interpreters they had found could see the texts on that piece of paper in the live broadcast room, they were still dumbfounded. They recognized every word but still failed to make any sense when connected.
“Go and find more interpreters again! Find a few more Americans! Hurry up!”
Half an hour flew by. A vague Zen singing began to emanate from the live broadcast room. It sounded like the buzzing of mosquitoes at first, but it became louder later. That was the authentic Zen singing of Buddhism, the six-syllable mantra.
Shelly stood for a long while without interrupting Alex. She then turned into a ray of red light and shot into his mind palace.

Cedric, who had just reached home in Alaska, prepared to pack up his things before flying to California on a special plane.
It was then that a coy lady came out of the corner. “Grandpa, you’re in such a hurry. Are you going on a long trip?”
“Esmeralda, where have you been lately? I called you, but you didn’t even pick up the phone! You’ve made me very worried!”
It turned out that this lady was Esmeralda Campbell, his granddaughter. Cedric, however, did not know that she was the president of the Supreme Protectors at Darver Lake beneath the dilapidated, ancient temple.
