“Huh? Cedric, why are you here?”
Geronimo was now at Rockefeller Manor. At the sight of Cedric, he froze for a moment.
That old man had played a pivotal role in Alaska and garnered many great achievements. If they were ranked according to merits, Cedric would be in a higher position than his.
Departments under the government like Divine Constabulary, Department Six, and The Flying Eagles supported Cedric more than anyone else. Geronimo was older and was the founder of Divine Constabulary, but in fact, he could have never established it without Cedric’s help.
“Geronimo, you are here too.” When Cedric saw Geronimo, he was slightly startled.
He did not feel aggrieved when he called Geronimo. Geronimo had just eaten dumplings at Alex’s house and experienced the tide of spiritual energy. Alex had also generously taken extra care of his grandfather. As a result, he showed signs of rejuvenation. His greying hair was now black and shiny, and the wrinkles on his face were gone as well. He now sported a rosy complexion and sharp eyes.
At a glance, he scented to be at the prime of life at forty.
Cedric lamented, ‘Isn’t this change too great?’
Geronimo looked at the sky. “Cedric, are you here because of those guys above?”
Cedric went straight to the point. “I came on behalf of the Alaskan State Council to meet Alex Rockefeller. I have a question for him in person.”
Facing Cedric, Geronimo certainly could not refuse. He went in hurriedly to look for Alex.
At that moment, Alex was in Dorothy’s room…
As soon as three days had passed, Xienna woke up and left the place immediately with Dorothy. She was completely decisive without leaving a few words, so he did not even know where she was going.
‘What a ruthless woman!’
Alex was helpless. Under the current circumstances, Alex could not do anything about Xienna. In addition, Dorothy once told him about her story. For the sake of a previous life’s fixation, Xienna had been searching in the vast sea of people and even lost an important token when she reincarnated. Thinking about it left him moved, yet broken-hearted.
“Bro, can my sister come back this time?”
Beatrice was here as well, lying in Alex’s arms, teary-eyed. Before Dorothy left, she spoke to Beatrice. No matter how Beatrice heard it, it sounded like a deathbed confession, and it gave her an ominous foreboding.
Alex comforted her. “Don’t worry. The background of her previous incarnation is extraordinary. Now that she has the flaming phoenix by her side, no one in this world can hurt her. They should thank her profusely for not killing anyone.”
The two girls, initially alumnae, were like two fighting cocks now.
“This isn’t your room,” Michelle argued. “It’s your sister and brother-in-law’s bridal chamber, and it has nothing to do with a sister-in-law like you. What’s the matter? Your sister left home, so you’re taking advantage of the situation? Being a dog in the manger? Trying to get laid on your sister’s behalf?”
Beatrice was embarrassed yet furious. “Michelle Yowell you think I don’t know what’s on your mind? You’re jiggling around your huge bust in front of my brother-in-law. Who are you trying to seduce? I know that yours are actually not huge but diseased. They need to be cured.”
The next second, Michelle rushed forward and scuffled with Beatrice.
It was then that Geronimo came to the door. At a glance, he looked dumbfounded. “What are you guys doing? Why are you fighting?”
Alex shook his head. “The classmates are on good terms and are having a wrestling practice. Don’t care about them. Grandpa, why are you looking for me?”
“Cedric is here. He has specifically asked to meet you.”
“Which Cedric?”
