Luna, who’d just walked in, let out a cry of surprise. Alex was right behind her, and he quickly passed through.
They then saw a massive group of living skeletons crowding against one another. Their eyes glistened with green light as they all looked towards Alex. It was as if they were taken aback as well, surprised at how humans could suddenly appear.
“The Undying Clan?!” Alex’s heart jumped. This situation was all too familiar.
In the next second, war erupted. As the skeletons came to their senses like sharks that smelt blood. They shrieked and pounced towards them. These skeletons were quite fierce. Most of them even had weapons in their hands too.
Boom!
Alex sent out an attack with his palm. The divine power was like an endless sea, toppling the opponents and clearing them out of Alex’s way.
Luna quickly removed the White Bone Whip from her wrist. She then whipped the air and said, “Why do these skeletons look similar to the ones in Spiritual Valley Dungeon?”
Holy energy flowed from Alex’s body as he sent the skeletons back with his palms. “They aren’t similar… These ones are stronger.”
His abilities were no longer weak like before. If he was facing those skeletons back in the dungeon, he would’ve been able to kill them in one blow with his current powers.
Freya, Claudia, Xerxes, and the others rushed in from behind. Seeing the situation, they immediately joined the battle.
Xerxes was reasonably strong as well. He possessed a rare treasure, which used to be the principal treasure of a Holy Church, a copper blade. It was engulfed in fiery flames, which were deadly to the undead when activated. With that, they were easily cleared out, it was an easy battle overall.
Freya pointed to Luna’s White Bone Whip. “Sis, this looks interesting. Where did you get it?”
Luna pointed at Alex. “He gave it to me.”
“Oh, I know, it’s a token of love.”
The three bodies were covered with tiny red furry bugs. They gathered densely on the corpses, having consumed all the flesh. Only their clothes, bones, and abandoned weapons remained.
“These aren’t my parents or my aunt!” Luna said. “The clothes are different, the weapons too.”
“It’s… People from the Lunula sect. They’ve encountered them.”
A battle had definitely taken place here. There were evident marks of it. The three bodies also had apparent sword, inflicted wounds.
Xerxes was anxious. “Where could they’ve gone to?”
Right then, a rustling could be heard in the dark environment. Everyone looked to the source of a sound from a dark passage. A furry red bug the size of a truck slowly crawled out.
