In the next second, an unbelievable scene took place. Alex’s finger touched the tip of the sword, but it didn’t get pierced. Instead, he managed to stop the attack.
The sword was quickly frozen, along with some hissing, turning into an ice sword. The man was instantly frozen into an ice statue by the extreme cold temperature.
“What?”
“What happened? How is this possible?”
The other man’s pupils shrunk in disbelief. In the next second, he heard a crackling sound, and a fracture appeared on the mystical sword of his partner.
It slowly widened until dense cracks appeared on his partner’s body as well.
A few seconds later, a loud clang filled the air. His sworn brother’s body, along with his clothes and sword, had broken into crushed ice like it was glass.
“Brother?!” The man shouted, his voice shaking. Not only because he’d lost his comrade, but only because he feared Alex.
Since they viewed him as a weak Core Formation guy, they never expected Alex to be so deadly. His brother was supposed to be so much stronger than this guy, after all.
“Who… Who are you?”
“It’s impossible for the Wastelands to have someone as powerful as you… You… You’re not at the Core Formation stage. You hid your true cultivation! Is that right? What stage are you really at?”
Facing Alex’s cold, deadly look, the man stepped back slowly.
Alex, however, extended his finger to beckon him over. Yet the man couldn’t possibly dare to take another step. He definitely knew that Alex was not just at Core Formation.
When Alex had gone through the man’s memories, his fury only increased and his body was overwhelmed with a deadly aura. With a soft tap of his hand, the man turned into a heap of ice.
“Honey, what did you see?” Luna asked.
“Death!”
Alex sent some divine power into Hailey’s body and placed her gently into the Cleansing Vase. He then took ginger steps towards Rockefeller Manor.
“Honey, what are you going to do?”
“Of course… I’m going home! It’s our right to return. I’ll kill whoever dares come in our way!”
