Alex had no reason to stop Maya from going to the Snow Mountain Sect. He was eager to follow and take a look since Shelly had said that taking out something like the divine dragon explosion proved their background wasn’t that straightforward, he could get unexpected treasures from it.
Lenneberg, on the other hand, was unconvinced.
“Snow Mountain Sect has just undergone a major change. For now, some things shouldn’t be changed too drastically.”
“There are only women in the sect, so it would be inappropriate for a man to go up.”
“When the time is right, I’ll invite you for a visit.”
In response, Alex was forced to give up.
Alex took out a storage ring and handed it to Maya as they parted ways. Inside it was scarce pills and cultivation resources unlikely to be found on the market.
Alex kissed Maya passionately in front of his mother-in-law, Lenneberg, and turned to look elsewhere. He then quietly handed Maya a few carefully prepared paper dolls.
These were soul-infused puppets that could be worn in case of an emergency… Alex’s true motivation for this was to see what the Snow Mountain Sect actually contained.
Even before the distance was served, their hearts had begun to ponder.
”Little brother, be sure to miss me…” Maya said hesitantly, holding her lover’s face.
“I promise to think of you three hundred times a day,” Alex replied tenderly.
“I‘m not greedy, so three times a day is enough. You too. You must be careful. Since the Yukon Holy Land is so important, you’ll never run out of people eyeing it. You’ll have to make preparations… Especially the safety of mom and the children. Be sure to give it some thought,” Maya said warmly.
“Don’t be concerned, I have a plan in my heart.”
Alex did, in fact, have a plan. He returned to Mount Dragon-Tiger and began the move after sending away Maya’s mother and daughter.
“Wait a minute, Alex!”
Dressed in white, The flawless-bodied Fairy Doctor stood playfully behind Alex. Ever since she revealed their relationship to the Flying Eagles crowd, she rarely showed her face and appeared constantly irritated.
The Fairy Doctor was here to persuade Maya and share her viewpoint.
“I’m sorry. I’m to blame!”
“Aren’t you concerned about my mother and their safety, Dawn? I’ll take you somewhere.”
Swish!
Alex waved his hand, revealing a portal.
“Kala Temple?” the Fairy Doctor asked.
She, too, had visited Kala Temple and was familiar with it.
Alex pulled her in, and there, before him, stood the colossal gate of Kala Temple.
“That’s right! When the time comes, I’ll place them all here, in Kala Temple. It’s completely safe,” he said.
