These flags were enough to surround the whole of Yukon. Unfortunately, Alex couldn’t fathom their use in such a short time. Thus, he set the book and flagpoles aside and would investigate further when he had the time.
Just then, a cylindrical ray of golden light shone down from the sky, aiming at Alex.
He didn’t hide from it as he looked at the golden ray and muttered, “I thought I didn’t have the honor! So it doesn’t matter if someone’s controlling the lightning tribulation. It’ll definitely still follow the rules.”
This golden ray was from the lightning tribulation. As it engulfed Alex, energy poured from it and entered his three thousand golden cores…
The lightning tribulation had ended, and the three thousand golden cores hatched. Each golden core had a huge change. What seemed to be fairies were within, slowly awakening.
“Is this Nascent Soul?” Alex was curious. He looked more attentively. He was then shocked.
It wasn’t Nascent Soul. It was a bunch of seeds.
Alex was dumbfounded. When others advanced from Core Formation to Nascent Soul, they attained realistic infant like spiritual bodies. On the other hand, his three thousand golden cores had turned into seeds.
‘What would I use seeds for?’
‘Can they grow into beautiful ladies?’
“Shelly!”
“Come quick!”
In the face of the problem, Alex summoned Shelly. He understood now that she was special. She was his protector and leader who also shared the same goals, which was why he could ask for her help.
Shelly and Ancestor Bodhi came out together. When they heard about Alex’s situation, they, too, were stunned.
Ancestor Bodhi telepathically spoke to Shelly. “Shelly, this ain’t right, those… Those things in the nascent souls seem to be lotus seeds?”
‘The seeds of the Blue Demonic Lotus?’
“I wonder if I could beat the tricksters if I fought them now.”
Nonetheless, Alex was satisfied with this ending.
Alex packed his clothes and headed deeper into the sanctuary of Mount Yukon. He quickly reached the barrier where the five largest forces had fought. This should be where the Troop Raising Pond was.
“Should we enter by force?”
Alex had a feeling that if he had to use force, he should destroy the barrier and unearth the Troop Raising Pond. However… As he thought about the possible dangers within, he hesitated. It was like opening Pandora’s box, where whatever lay inside could change everything.
“How about we come on another day?”
With the thought, Alex stepped back when the barrier suddenly shook violently. A hand reached out from within and grabbed his neck. With a pull, Alex vanished from where he had stood.
