Oregon.
Pompeii Fairyland.
The weather was fine, and the sea shimmered from the right amount of sunshine. Many attractive men and women were basking in the sun on the beach of a huge island. They were not tourists who came over for a tour, but Lightning Pavilion disciples. Pompeii Fairyland had become their territory.
“D*mn it! Alex Rockefeller is really lucky. He actually acquired Yukon Sanctuary.”
“What is he capable of? An incapable aborigine who’s managed to acquire the top-ranked sanctuary by riding on women’s coattails? It’s simply preposterous!”
“You’d better not say that. Riding on women’s coattails is a skill in itself, and not everyone can do that. Why don’t you try riding on Jade Benmore’s coattails if you can?”
In fact, the group of youths from the Lightning Pavilion had never met Alex before. Someone else had passed on all the information to them, and it didn’t hinder them from making various speculations from the back. It would seem those people only looked up to Jade…
“That woman, Jade Benmore, is definitely an extraordinary person.”
“She clearly looks like a twenty year old girl, but I didn’t expect her to be that powerful and domineering.”
“I know, right? Back when she barged into the island that day, she really scared me. She sent the third elder flying and smashed the Stardew Island with a hammer. Even the sect master could only bow and scrape. I’d like to kneel and bootlick such a woman too.”
Just as the group indulged in fantasy, a large ship suddenly appeared on the sea. It was coming at an extremely high speed. It was still on the horizon earlier but was within a mile of the island in the blink of an eye.
It stopped right there.
Whoosh!
The group of young men and women from the Lightning Pavilion leaped up.
“Where… Did this ship come from?”
“Beats me. It seems to have appeared out of thin air.”
“No. I saw it. It came from the opposite side and was moving at breakneck speed.”
“Hurry up! Hurry and inform the sect master!” said someone anxiously.
The crowd had already seen a group of people appearing on the ship’s deck.
Everyone was dressed in standard black armor and looked majestic, save for a man in the middle who was wearing red armor. As soon as he waved his hand, the group in black armor made their move.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Loud explosions could be heard from the deck of the enormous flying ship.
A dozen men in black soared into the sky like a dozen cannonballs and flew toward the island with a terrifying aura.
“Ah! They’re coming!”
“What are they trying to do?”
