Patroclus was very fond of Luneth. Firstly, he was attracted to her looks, as she was known for her beauty within the Great Northern. Not many would be able to compare to her natural gorgeousness and her porcelain-like skin. More importantly, she had a unique pair of eyes. It was as if there was a rainbow in her eyes, like the most beautiful pair of jewels. Secondly, her status came into play as well. The Muellers were an ancient, large family within the Great Northern, and they had birthed several powerful beings as well. Yet that wasn’t the main reason why Patroclus was chasing after her…
As the eldest son of the East Emperor, and the heir of the East Divine Empire, he was somewhat of high status. A powerful figure like him was definitely a good match with the Mueller’s. Hence, he cared about Luneth’s master as well, as she was the one and only Sword Saint Guardian within the Great Northern.
Her clan was powerful, and its name was… The Sword Saint Clan. Every disciple within that clan would end up becoming
Sword Saints as well.
Besides that, the clan was so strong that it had even exceeded the kingdom of God. It wasn’t under the kingdom’s control, thus, not even the East Emperor would dare to provoke them. Elsewise, those Sword Saints might come for him, which wasn’t a mere joke. Hence, Patroclus and the East Emperor wanted Luneth to marry into their family. Once she joined them, the Sword Saint Clan might end up merging forces with their empire.
Yet now, he was watching Alex hugging Luneth. She didn’t seem to resist one bit and instead looked quite delighted. She lifted her chin gently to look at the man, her eyes filled with bashfulness, rather excited to give herself to him…
At the very least, that was what Patroclus thought after witnessing this. This made him so frustrated that he felt like vomiting blood.
“Luneth Mueller! Didn’t you hate this man?”
“Didn’t he lie to you? You tricked me. What is your relationship with him?!”
Patroclus was able to clearly see Alex and Luneth’s actions and expressions. It was amplified for him since he was in a shrunken glass cube. This made him yell and scream loudly.
Luneth went out of Alex’s embrace and stood before the shrunken boundary, staring straight inside. After quite some effort, she was able to find Patroclus.
“I never tricked you now, did I? Because I’ve never admitted that Alex had stolen my storage ring. In fact, he was the one who gave me all my current storage rings. Besides, without him back in the Underworld, I would’ve died long ago.”
Luneth looked at Alex with a speechless expression.
“Alright, let’s not talk about such disappointing stuff. What’s with your eyes, Luneth? Are you wearing contact lenses? Or are they fake?”
Such eyes really did look like they could only come out of a dream. They were truly ethereal.
Luneth rolled her eyes. “Contact lenses? Fake? Mine are all-natural, okay? My master also told me that my eyes are both a curse and a blessing.”
“What does that mean?”
“I don’t know, for now. She said that I have to wait for someone who could see through my eyes.”
