That was a monk… It was a tiny monk!
More interesting, it was none other than Ancestor Bodhi living in his mind palace.
Phoenix and Jade Benmore had seen Ancestor Bodhi before. How would they not be surprised in the face of such a commotion? And the one being pulled out turned out to be Ancestor Bodhi, a fair and delicate monk?
“Old Bodhi, why are you here?” asked Alex.
However, Ancestor Bodhi did not move a muscle.
The female marshal was still pulling the dragon cart until she came to the middle of the four sculptures.
Phoenix pulled Alex’s arm as she said, “He is not Ancestor Bodhi. This thing gives me a heinous vibe.”
Right after the voice fell, Ancestor Bodhi suddenly opened his eyes. The eyeballs turned out to be entirely black without any sclera.
Then, shadows appeared consecutively out of the light of the 3,999 mysterious runes… Those shadows were of humans. Or rather, they were souls of the deceased.
They could vaguely make out the appearance of each and every soul before they died.
Their outfits looked very peculiar, ancient, and with an odd style.
“They are the citizens of the Witch Kingdom!” Phoenix suddenly shouted.
Alex recognized them too.
Back when they were exploring Sinless City, they had searched countless buildings. There, they had seen many people from the Witch Kingdom back then… Murals and sculptures, for instance. They even picked up Memory Crystals, but their cultivation was sealed, and could not read them. However, these souls looked exactly like the ones on the murals. Nonetheless, these souls were filled with endless resentment.
They wandered out and surrounded Ancestor Bodhi. Their faces were hideous, as though they were going to eat him. However, it was useless. They only dared to surround him, but they dared not do it for real, as though under some sort of restriction.
Alex suddenly remembered.
Alex and the few others became alert all of a sudden.
Alex and the few others became alert all of a sudden.
The next moment, Juvia spoke softly, “Dad!”
In an instant, the few people were dumbfounded. Ancestor Bodhi was the Undead Queen’s father, so her blood could trigger the runes here. However, it was too far-fetched.
“Capture her!”
“Capture the Undead Queen! Do not let them rendezvous!”
Whoosh!
Jade took the lead and rushed over, trying to capture Juvia. However, the next second, that female marshal suddenly rushed over and instantly kicked Jade in the chest.
