When Frey woke up again, she found herself at the edge of the same cliff where she had previously failed to jump.

Her hands were tightly bound, her head throbbed from the blow, and she felt dizzy.

Frey stood precariously at the cliff's edge, just one push away from falling into the abyss.

Abigail, with a distorted and crazed expression, stood before her, staring intensely.

One end of the rope tying Frey was secured to a nearby rock by Abigail, who toyed with a dagger.

As long as she cut the rope, Frey would plummet into the void.

"Frey, we meet again," Abigail sneered, the dagger hovering over the taut rope but not cutting it.

Frey looked at her coldly. "Abigail, how does it feel to be a stray dog lately?"

Her words hit a nerve, and Abigail raised her hand, delivering a harsh slap to Frey's face.

Unmoved, Frey pressed her tongue against her cheek, feeling the sting of the slap.

She looked at Abigail and smiled slowly. "I didn't expect you to still come after me. You must love me.

"Frey, I want you to die this time! If I can't marry Nathaniel, neither can you."

Frey laughed loudly. "Fine, then kill me. Let's see how Nathaniel will ever forgive you."

Abigail was taken aback by Frey's words and realized something. Her face turned pale, and she stared at Frey. "Did you set a trap? Did you do this on purpose?"

"You're Taylor's sister. Nathaniel spared you once for Taylor's sake. Do you think he'll let you go a second time? Who does Taylor think he is?"

Abigail looked panicked. She had been caught in Frey's trap since she stepped into Stanna.

The dagger in her hand trembled, unable to cut the rope.

Just as the two were at a standoff, rapid footsteps echoed from the base of the cliff.

Nathaniel led Hudson and the others to the scene. The moment he saw Abigail, his eyes turned red with cold fury. Despite everything, Abigail was still frightened by Nathaniel's gaze.

"Nathaniel, you've been deceived by this woman. She set up this engagement and marriage to trap me. She doesn't love you at all. She's lying to you," Abigail shouted desperately.
