Luna's grip on the oxygen tank tightened, her knuckles turning white.

"Yes, Mr. Nathaniel. I'll leave the oxygen tank here..."

"No need, take it with you," Nathaniel replied, still holding Freya close. "I already have the oxygen I need."

Luna looked at Nathaniel in disbelief, her heart sinking. Three years ago, everyone knew Nathaniel only saw Freya as a tool. When did he fall so deeply in love with her?

Luna's eyes turned red as she glanced at Freya, who was held so intimately by Nathaniel. That position was never hers. She took a deep breath, turned, and left the office, closing the door behind her.

"She's gone," Freya said, attempting to push him away. His eyes were so swollen; she needed to clean them with some water.

"I wasn't acting. Luna leaving doesn't change anything," Nathaniel said, barely opening his eyes to look at Freya, stroking her smooth hair. "I need her temporarily. Once I find a suitable replacement, she'll be gone."

Freya suddenly laughed, tapping Nathaniel on the forehead. "Why are you so bad?"
