Luna secretly breathed a sigh of relief. She knew her time was running out.

She had to ensure Frey never made it out of Pontenero alive and that she never saw Nathaniel again.

"Alright, you all accompany Mr. Nathaniel back to Saeville. Hudson is still in a standoff with Sawyer's people. I'll stay to take care of Hudson. My fiance is in Pontenero, and I'm familiar with this place," she said.

Koen nodded in agreement. With Sawyer's affairs unresolved in Pontenero, Hudson couldn't be left alone. Luna was the best fit to stay.

"Alright then!" Koen said gratefully before getting into Nathaniel's car.

Ozzy had already helped Nathaniel into the back seat, and soon an ambulance arrived to take him away.

Luna, responsible for cleaning up the aftermath in Pontenero, drove towards the church. As she passed through the central square, she spotted Taylor.

She hadn't seen Taylor in years. Standing in the southeast corner of the square, wearing a gray T-shirt and army green pants, he was almost unrecognizable.

He was much thinner, but his cold and murderous aura remained unchanged.

Luna parked next to Taylor and honked the horn.

He seemed to be searching for someone, but when he saw Luna lowering the window, he looked startled.

After leaving Technologent Group, Taylor had distanced himself from everything related to it, including Luna’s return to work with Mr. Nathaniel.

He hadn’t paid much attention to personnel changes, even when he was with the company.

After a moment of hesitation, he walked towards Luna.

She quickly replied, "Mr. Nathaniel and I came to Pontenero to handle some matters. Hudson called and said Mr. Nathaniel was short on people, so I came to help."

Hearing "Mr. Nathaniel," Taylor's expression turned sour. He didn't know Nathaniel was also here, but Mandy had mentioned Frey’s stay in Pontenero over drinks.

If Frey was here, Nathaniel must be too.

He sneered inwardly. Their love had cost his sister’s life.

Feeling uncomfortable, Taylor didn't want to continue the conversation. He waved her off, "Then get busy. I have to leave."

"Hey! Taylor!" Luna called out. She stayed in Pontenero to end Frey’s life. With Koen and Ozzy taking Nathaniel away and Hudson busy with the Lloyd family, it was her golden opportunity, but she unexpectedly met Taylor.

Though she guessed Taylor wasn't a threat anymore, he was once Nathaniel's right-hand man. She didn’t want anyone interfering with her plans, not even remotely.
