Koen hurriedly called Frey, but she didn't answer. He wondered if she had changed her number or if Nathaniel had been blocked.

"Give it to me!" Nathaniel growled, snatching the phone from Koen.

In doing so, he ripped the IV tube from his hand, causing blood to splatter and stain the back of his hand red.

"Mr. Nathaniel!" Koen tried to help him with the bleeding wound, but Nathaniel shoved him away, worsening the wound on his chest and turning pale from the pain.

Koen, afraid to move further, called Ozzy for assistance.

Ozzy wanted to curse when he saw Nathaniel repeatedly dialing Frey's number. Koen signaled him to stay calm and let Nathaniel vent, even if it led to his death.

When there was no answer, Nathaniel's eyes turned red. He smashed the phone against the wall, shattering the screen.

The ward fell silent, save for Nathaniel's heavy breathing. Koen and Ozzy stood still, not daring to move.

After a while, Nathaniel, in a hoarse voice, said, "Contact the airport. I want to fly to Pontenero."

"Mr. Nathaniel, your condition..." Ozzy began, but Nathaniel interrupted, his voice weak and ethereal.

"Go to Pontenero immediately!"

"Nathaniel, you're gonna die!" Ozzy's voice carried sadness and anger.

Nathaniel glanced at him lightly. "Then I'll die in Pontenero. I want to die in front of that heartless woman. I want her to watch me die!"

Ozzy, speechless, turned to Koen and left the ward to arrange a special flight. After a while, Ozzy came out, his eyes slightly red with anger.

"A pair of psychos!" Ozzy cursed, lighting a cigarette and taking a deep puff in the courtyard.

Koen smiled bitterly and patted his shoulder. "That's fate, you can't escape from it!"

"These two probably wronged each other in their past lives, and now they're taking revenge."

"I have to go. Remember to call Luna later and ask her to look after Ms. Frey. Mr. Nathaniel will be flying for several hours. If possible, talk to Ms. Frey in advance, or it'll be too late."
