“Mr. Nathaniel, Luna is in the wine cellar.”

Nathaniel’s expression darkened slightly. “Contact the local police.”

Koen was momentarily taken aback. He had expected Nathaniel to administer some personal form of justice, but it seemed he intended to turn her over to the authorities.

This meant Luna would face charges of kidnapping, attempted murder, and other serious offenses. The prospect of prison was inevitable.

“Mr. Nathaniel, Luna wants to see you. She has something to say.”

“No need,” Nathaniel replied curtly. He had no intention of wasting any more time on this matter.

“Have everyone leave. The police are on their way. We don’t want them to see this scene. You all stay here and handle things.”

Nathaniel turned and left the estate; the sound of police sirens and Luna’s distant cries, screams, and frantic shouting soon followed.

He left without pausing, immediately boarding his car.

Luna was taken out of the wine cellar by the police, along with Ethan’s biological father, Asgore.

Ethan watched Luna, who was now hysterically crying and screaming. His brow furrowed deeply. He had often accommodated her in the past, but this time he couldn’t bring himself to do so.

Even as the police dragged Luna out, she struggled and tried to break free, but they forcefully restrained her on the ground.
