Nathaniel ordered all of them to stay.
Della glanced at the dozen or so beautiful girls behind her, feeling overwhelmed.
Nathaniel's face darkened, and no one else dared to say anything. They all stepped aside, leaving their boss plenty of room to act.
"Wine!"
Nathaniel's face was pale, and his voice was heavily laden.
Ozzy coughed, but before he could speak, Nathaniel had already opened the bottle.
The girls on either side of him, looking at their big boss, were as cautious as kindergarteners waiting for snacks with their hands behind their backs.
The suite, which was tastefully decorated and spacious, now only echoed with the sound of Nathaniel pouring his own drink.
No one dared to speak, and the atmosphere in the suite was eerily tense, more like a haunted house than an entertainment venue.
Della couldn't help but remind him, "Mr. Morgan, I heard you just had surgery. Drinking is bad for your health. How about letting Phanie and the others sing a song for you?"
Without raising his head, Nathaniel filled the glass in front of him, lifted it, and drank half of it, immediately starting to cough.
Two girls beside him took out tissues to help clean the spilled wine from his sleeves.
Ozzy suddenly stood up. He stared at Nathaniel, noticing the shattered look in his eyes. He couldn't bring himself to say a word of advice.
Ozzy said quietly, "I'm going to the restroom."
He strode out of the suite and went to the restroom, washing his face with cold water. After wiping his face, he called Freya.
Ozzy took a deep breath, "Madam, no matter what misunderstandings there were between you and the boss, it shouldn’t be serious enough to take his life, right?"
Freya frowned, not understanding what Ozzy meant.
"Ozzy, I don't understand what you’re saying."
Ozzy was almost in tears, rubbing his slightly reddened eyes, "Madam, I’m begging you, please stop fighting with the boss. Can’t we all just live peacefully together?"
Freya remained silent, while Ozzy, feeling like he had opened a floodgate, began to recount all of Nathaniel’s self-destructive behavior over this period.
Freya’s frown deepened. Even she couldn’t understand what Nathaniel was trying to achieve. He was the one who had betrayed her first, yet now he was the one acting as if he couldn’t live without her.
Ozzy’s voice was almost pleading, "Madam, the boss just had surgery. The doctor said that if he doesn’t take care of himself, he might not have long to live."
