Chapter 62
“You already know who I am but I’ll give you the benefit of doubt and start with the introductions again.” The boy said, his focus fully on Quentin.
He stretched out a hand. “You can call me Hart. Tech expert and all around computer–eccentric persona. I’m focused on information technology as I believe that it is the path that’s going to drive us to a superior future as werewolves.”
Quentin accepted his hand and shook it firmly. “Quentin-”
”
“Billionaire philanthropist and renowned media figure. I know all that.”
There was a glint of amusement in Quentin’s eyes as he watched him, releasing the boy’s hand. “I’m guessing you dislike the traditional way of life then.”
“What do you think?” The boy chuckled. “Relying on claws and fangs to rule your packs? Primitive. I find it disgusting that people still fall back to such old practices.”
“Oh really? Sounds like you just find people who are werewolves disgusting.” Quentin retorted.
Hart’s eyes narrowed on the Alpha. For the slightest second, it seemed like there was going to be a standoff between the both of them.

His eyes widened just a little, his pupils dilating ever so slightly. Quentin followed his gaze and noticed I’d been spotted.
“Hart-”
The boy didn’t say a word, simply getting up from his seat and making his way towards me. He stopped just a little distance from me, a rosy colour dusting his cheeks and the bridge of his nose.
Quentin immediately got out of his seat, making his way towards Hart in a bid to stop him from getting too close to me.
He was a fraction too late as Hart had already leaned in and taken a small whiff of my scent. Quentin pulled him back just as his eyes had raised up to meet mine.
“And here you were talking about despising the instincts werewolves carry in their genes.” Quentin

mocked.
“Oh please,” Hart’s eyes narrowed on him for some seconds before he turned back to me. There was a soft look in his eyes, like he’d be contented with just staring at me and getting to watch me in
silence.
