Evelyn hadn't expected that, as Brandon's cousin, Harry would behave differently from Brandon.

On top of that, she had noticed Harry there when she clashed with Brandon that day. She knew he had witnessed everything, and Brandon would not have said anything nice about her in front of him.

It was surprising that Harry could remain calm and have a reasonable conversation with her, but neither of them mentioned Brandon's name.

Jason didn't say much either. The waiter brought over a blueberry dessert, which he pushed toward Evelyn.

Having met her a few times, he had probably noticed that she had a sweet tooth.

Evelyn didn't pay attention to the gesture. She focused on Harry, elaborating, "Regarding my uncle's condition, the hospital has suggested a new treatment plan that could improve the success rate. Mr. Miller, could you take a look at it for me?"

She laid out Leonard's medical records in front of him.

Harry nodded and started flipping through them.

After a moment, he spoke. "It's quite a coincidence. I'm currently leading a research project on oncology drugs, and it's being done at this hospital."

Evelyn hadn't expected such a coincidence. Moreover, being invited back to the country to lead a research project meant his level of expertise was certainly impressive.

After skimming through the records, he looked up. "The issue is rather complicated. A liver transplant is the most reliable option."

Evelyn's heart sank. "So... Mr. Miller, is there any chance you could treat my uncle?"

Jason also turned his attention to Harry.

Harry hesitated for a moment before pushing the records back toward her. "I'm sorry, but I may not have the time in the next two months. The research project I'm involved in is initiated by an international medical organization, so my schedule is quite packed.

"However, I can introduce you to my senior who came back with me."

Evelyn felt a bit disappointed. She knew that since Jason vouched for him, Harry must have had exceptional skills.

"My senior is also at this hospital and is a leading authority in oncology surgery. If you don't mind, I can have him take over." It sounded like Harry was gently declining the case.

Her body had clearly taken a toll.
