“But where are we going?” Zordan asked when Calvin asked him to pack his clothes for the day and some necessary things that they might need on their trip.

“Can’t you just accompany me without asking anything?” Calvin questioned him back.

“Still, mate, I need to tell mom and dad about it. So that they will look after the pack in our absence.”

“Exactly. That’s the reason I’m not telling you, Zordy. Uncle Bruce is a good friend of dad, and he will vomit everything if he asks anything from Uncle Bruce.” Calvin responded.

“So, in short, you are not hiding the name of the place from me but from Uncle Brandon,” Zordan concluded and started using his mind to what could be the reason for hiding anything from Brandon Haysbert, Calvin’s father.

“You’re going somewhere where Uncle Brandon doesn’t want you to go because it is dangerous orrrrrr forbidden.” Immediately his eyes widened in shock when he realized where exactly his Alpha was planning to take him.

“We are going to Black council.” He asked more like stated, to which Calvin didn’t react anything. He took out the map and packed it in the bag. “Alpha, there can be chances that we will never return from that hellhole.”

“CHANCES!! It’s not confirmed, right?” Calvin reminded him. “And don’t forget that Liara stays there, so we might come out of there safely.”

“MIGHT? Seriously?” Zordan faked his laugh.

“I won’t force you to come with me then. Stay here and look after the pack. I’m going there for sure.” Calvin said, picking up his bag and walking out of the packhouse while Zordan followed him. Calvin threw his bag in the jeep, and he did the same.

Calvin raised his eyebrow; looking at him on which, he spoke, “I can’t stay here quietly, knowing that out there you’re going to hug the danger.”

“Come on! We will die together if we will have to.” Zordan said, grabbing the driving seat with a smile while deep down; both were scared of that place because they were going to the scariest place of werewolves places.

Black council, just like the name, it was all dark and the hub of the dark, evil, and heartless rouge werewolves where there was no basis for the rule. Only the powerful and strong werewolves could survive there.

Calvin felt a twist in his stomach, thinking that his beloved sister used to stay there. No one had kept any relation or connection with her for a while, and now he was going to land there all of a sudden. He didn’t know whether he would even get a chance to meet her or not, but he had to try.

He mentally laughed at himself, thinking how selfish he was; he didn’t try to contact her all this time, but now when he needed her help, he was going to meet her.

After traveling for more than twelve hours, Calvin pulled out the map that he had and followed the moon. No one knew the exact location of the Black Council because not every time any werewolves visited that place, at least not at the hub of the rouges, and those who wanted to come there then they had to do extra work.

“Damn, the fog is too thick around this place because of the river,” Zordan grumbled when he was about to hit the tree again. They both had left the jeep a way before and started trekking because of the hilly route.

“Be careful with your steps,” Calvin warned. The fog around them was so thick that even his wolf could see things more clearly. “I think we are near. It is said that Black council is near if one could smell the scent of sandalwood.” He added.

Both kept walking ahead for an hour more but couldn’t find anything except for trees, fog, and the mountains.

“I think we are lost.”

“No. I don’t think so. Keep moving. I’m sure that your wolf can also smell their rotten scent.”

“Wow!! Commenting about our smell by coming into our territory.” They heard and looked at the source of the voice but couldn’t find anyone because of the damn fog, but whoever it was, he was on the top of the mountain. Thanks to superhuman hearing power, they heard that voice loud and clear. In the next moment, a man, a werewolf, of course, jumped from the top and landed on the ground in all black, including his face. He had used black color or paint on his face.

“I…”

“Doctor will be happy to see someone from her family here.” That man said, cutting Calvin in between. He didn’t know that that man who recognized him this easily. Both Calvin and Zordan watched him, removing the stone from the mountain and scanning his eyes. In the next moment, the stone in front of the mountain was removed, showing them the way inside it.

‘Holycow! Who could have thought that the black council is inside the mountain.’ Zordan mindlinked Calvin, who was thinking the same. The bags that they brought with them were kept with the strange man in black, and then, they went through a security check just after entering the mountain-like council.

Soon they were accompanied by another male who was surely smelling like shit but looked fresh and had worn just a boxer.

Well, what could anyone expect a werewolf to wear at two at night?

“Does your great father know that his son is here to meet his abandoned daughter?” he asked in a cold tone, more like taunted.

“No. He doesn’t. And please don’t tell him about the same.” Zordan replied instead of Calvin, to which that man didn’t respond anything. After walking for a while, he reached the open area. Calvin saw that area was surrounded by mountains from all sides.

After fifteen to twenty minutes of walking, they reached the biggest house in that area, surrounded by the small house around it. Once the door of that house opened, Calvin’s jaw dropped, seeing the beauty of the house. He didn’t expect to see anything like this.

He couldn’t count the time for how long he kept walking until finally they were asked to sit. Because of night, he could only see the guards, no one else. After a while, a robot approached them carrying water and juice in her hand.

“Oh, wow!! Here is a robot as well.” Zordan said and was ready to drink the juice when Calvin slapped his hand, signaling him to keep his hand away from everything.

“Let him drink it, Calvin. I assure you that nothing is mixed in it.” Finally, Calvin heard the voice for which he was here. Calvin saw his sister carefully using her stair; at first, he couldn’t understand her small baby step until his eyes landed on her small baby bump.

“Lee?” A smile appeared on his face; leaving the couch, he walked toward her and cupped her face, “Moon Goddess! I didn’t know that you were expecting.”

“To know that you had to keep in touch with her, you know.” Calvin raised his head and saw her mate, who looked annoyed with the disturbance in his sleep.
