Logan seemed to be talking about irrelevant topics. He even brought up the two students in Jasmine’s class who were from good families and had good looks.

What does that have to do with him? Sophia felt that Logan had lost his composure after having a new girlfriend. This was probably why he became worse at expressing himself.

She listened to his rambling patiently until he suddenly exclaimed in a hurry, “I have to hang up now! Something’s up.”

Sophia clutched her phone and burst out laughing. Shaking her head at his behavior, she placed her phone down.

On the other end, after ending his call with Sophia, Logan immediately picked up another call and his tone instantly changed. Smiling, he gently asked, “What’s up? Are you asking me for a favor again?”

Lola sighed on the other side. “I do have a favor to ask you.”

She sounded quite frustrated and helpless, to which he said with a chuckle, “Tell me, what happened?” The day has finally come when this girl comes to me for help!
