Ernest shot Xena a sharp glance before she could finish her sentence.

Right then, Ernest patted Bradley on the shoulder. 

“Let’s head to your office, Brad. I’ll be leaving right after. I’m not as energetic as I used to be now that I’m older.” 

After they left, Xena had a grim look on her face. 

“Speak! Tell me everything, down to the last detail!” 

In the interrogation room, the person across from Felix was slamming the table every so 

often.

Felix remained unafraid throughout. After all, he knew exactly what had happened.

When the door was closed, the originally stern expression on the man’s face turned into a pitiful look.

What the man said took Felix by surprise. Felix hadn’t sought help from anyone, so why had this person’s attitude changed?
