Felix frowned. 

When the man first appeared, he had sensed a murderous intent aimed at him, but it quickly disappeared and shifted toward the old man. Yet now, he just heard that the man was here to kill him. 

“You’re here to kill me?” the old man asked, astonished. 

Killian gave a bitter smile. He could move his legs and his facial muscles slowly. To be frank, Felix’s strength had amazed him. With just half a coffee cup, Felix had rendered him immobile with almost no visible injuries on his body. 

“That’s right. But we underestimated you.” 

The old man, finally understanding the situation, took a step back in shock but said nothing. 

“Interesting. You must be a professional assassin, right? Seems like your organization is on the brink of destruction,” Felix said. 

He was no stranger to assassin organizations. Back in Eden Village, assassins had managed to locate him. The nine female apprentices became furious. 

On that same day, three of the apprentices left the village, and by the next day, the assassin organization had been wiped out entirely. 

Now, it seemed he was dealing with another assassin organization, most likely sent by 

Perry. 

Killian sighed. “You are indeed formidable, but you still don’t understand how terrifying Inferno Clan is. The contract said that they want you dead. Even if you kill me, can you handle other stronger assassins they are sending next?” 

What? They wanted him dead? 

The old man gasped, taking another step back. From the way the assassin spoke, it was clear the old man had once been involved with Inferno Clan. 

“If I’m the target, then I look forward to facing your stronger assassins,” Felix said. 

Just as he was going to end Killian’s life, the old man suddenly interrupted, “Stop!” 

Felix glanced over at him, and the old man swallowed nervously before sp king, “If you can make him tell the truth about whether Inferno Clan knows I’m still alive and if they have any plans against me, I’ll give you the Shimmeroot.” 

The old man realized that Felix was no ordinary person. After all, Killian was a five–star assassin from Inferno Clan, yet he had been subdued so easily. There was a real possibility
