Wendy’s phone was turned off? Felix was baffled. Someone like Wendy would never turn off her phone or let it out of her sight, even for a moment. This was odd. 

“Alright. Leave it to me. I’ll make sure tomorrow night’s dinner goes as planned. You just 

ahead and make a reservation.”

This was what true friendship meant. No matter Felix’s status or connections, in Jack’s eyes, he was simply his good buddy and nothing more. If something came up, they wouldn’t hesitate to ask each other for help, and vice versa. 

Felix called Wendy, but once again, her phone was off. He frowned. 

When it was nearing noon, Felix drove his Range Rover out. Since Wendy’s phone was still turned off, he decided to visit the Kinsley family.

They didn’t even ask the guests‘ identities and just outright refused all visitors. Could the Kinsley family really be in big trouble? 

“My name is Felix. You can inform them.” 

There was no need to inform anyone now. Upon hearing his name, the guard’s expression and gaze immédiately changed. 

“Sorry, Mr. Zeller, but… could you please show your ID? I can’t let you in until I confirm your identity.” 

“No problem. You’re just doing your job.” Felix smiled. He handed over his ID, and soon, the gates swung open, letting the Range Rover through.
